I am not sure how 'natural' it is to believe in something greater than ourselves (in terms of a deity).

What has happened is that humans have sought reasons why the earth is the way it is. Humans have always been fascinated by life cycles, seasonality and the place of the earth within the natural universe.

I think the human quest for 'why?' and 'how'? is natural. I also think that it is essential that adherents to belief systems question why they believe things and don't blindly accept things merely because they have been told to.

I don't just blindly believe in what I believe... I do have questions... believe me I don't like to be told what to do or what to believe in... :lol:

I still want to know what is wrong with homosexuals getting married legally though...I am particularly interested in a reasoned argument from a religious person as to why homosexuality is sinful?
