I send the petition for my husband (i-130) on February 15, 2006, today the check was cashed, however I haven’t received the NOA!, what happens if it gets lost in the mail? Is there a number I can contact to find out? PLEASE HELP ME!!! :help::help::help::help:

12/26/05 I go to Cuba

send I-130 Petition

03/02/06 recived NOA1

04/03/06 send I-129 visa

04/13/06 NOA 1 for I-129F in mail

06/07/06 I-130 Approved

07/05/06 Ref in mail (129F)

07/06/06 send back (129F)

07/07/06 rcvd I-864 Processing fee bill &DS-3032

07/09/06 faxed DS-3032 to al

07/10/06 send I-864 fee

07/11/06 send DS- 3032 (next day delivery)

08/02/06 send bill $380. recived 08/08/06

08/09/06 send affidavit of support recived 08/10/06

08/16/06 send DS 230- arrived at visa center on 08/17/06 at 8AM

08/16/06 I129 approved

10/26/06 1-130 completed at NVC

02/12/07 Visa was issued

don't worry, the mail sometimes takes a while. You sent the petiton on Feb 15, add 5-8 days for them to receive it and then for them to look at it and bla and then 5-8 days for the mail to get to you.

No reason to freak, it'll come.

If you need it to check your status online, they should have your receipt number on the back of the check.

I know it takes about 4-7 days to get there....after the check clears. Its quicker to send money orders

You reciept number starts with 3 letters followed by some numbers I went through vermont so mine started with VSC

You are very close to getting your NOA1. USCIS deposits the check once they are done with the data entry of your case.

Yes, you check the case number on the back of the check.. Since you filed for TSC/CSC your case number should start with WAC.

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval
