Spouse Visa vs Work Permit

Hello,

I have a general question. My spouse is about to get an offer from our company to work in the US. Our company will apply for the necessary work authorizations for her. We just gathered all of the documents needed for the IR-1 as we thought we were going to work in Asia and not the US. So now I need to know whether I still need to continue with the IR-1 process as described or whether having work authorizations for the US, makes the process necessarily easier or more complicated.

Also should we start the IR-1 process when she gets to the US with our Company or should we just proceed now and then make changes when we move. Just for general information we should be moving in the next 2-3 months.

What type of visa will the company apply for? If it is a dual intent visa then you are good, if not, it is immigration fraud to use a non-immigrant visa to move to the US or use it to plan to adjust status
