Hello,

My fiancee's interview is on March 6th at the New Delhi consulate. I have sent her all the paper work. I did their forms (DS 230, DS 156 and 156K) and sent my I-134 with letter from employee and previous tax returns. She is a small town girl from India with no family and is completely overwhelmed by everything. I am trying to help her on the phone as much as I can.

I need you guys to help me out. Here are some questions:

a. The DS156K states that "The following documents must be attached in order to apply for fiance via". Should various documents such as birth certificate, divorce papers be stapled/attached to the DS156K or can they be given separately but in the same packet?

b. I have a big packet for I-134 with bank statements, letter from employer, tax returns etc. Should this be stapled/attached to DS 156K or can it be given as a separate attachment?

Are the embassy staff helpful with quetions? I am afraid she will be overwhelmed and completely crack under pressure at the interview. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Harry
