please i will like to know if it is possible.

i did my wedding in Nigeria and i am now in Malaysia, i just want to know if it is possible for me to have my visa interview here in Malaysia, because i don't like the way i am hearing the news of the Nigeria consular visa denying. what can i do to make this happen? i prefer doing it here than wasting the time to go to Nigeria for nothing

Well, i agree with Dwheels, u have to get yourself prepared from my experience the consular officers are not as harsh as people say they are. If u have enough evidence to back your answers at the interview and confidence(answer your questions correctly and with ease) u will definitely not have a problem. Do not start getting that negative feeling about the interview, No, be positive and say to yourself that u can do it. U also need to pray about it too becos when once u commit it into God's hands, i tell u, u will have no regrets. Pray God to grant u favour in His sight first of all and in the sight of the consular officer that will interview u. Tell Him how u want your interview to be and He will grant u your request. Also get to know your wife very well and important dates like when u first met, when u started communicating and by what means, date of marriage etc and i tell u, u will be super fine. Keep saying to yourself that u can do all things thru Christ who strengthens u. God will see u through. I wish u all the best.

With God all things are possible!

The only advise i will give is do not allow what you hear about Lagos consulate to stop you from going there. I went in there and conquer...it is not really easy but work on being nervous and know your spouse real well to answer them fast without much thinking. That is actually what i did. I study those questions...pick those that applied to me and study them. Sometimes...i act as the interviewer and answer those questions...these preparation helped me to come out in flying colors. I have been to schools but i have not prepared in any exams the way i did on this interview. I do not allow the thought that others are being denied but i asked myself what make them to be denied. The fact still remain that many come there unprepared and just meet the shock of there life. So prepare yourself well and analyze your relationship to see if there are red flags. If you have any red flag concentrate on them. Wish ya the best.

Yes, I believe this to be true and I think the affidavit is just to humiliation. Why does everyone have to do this (Africans)? I have contacted my congressman and senator and we have decided to consult an attorney. I am definitely going to keep digging into this matter. It looks pretty discriminatory to me and that's just my personal opinion. This particular CO, should be investigated.

Its not as much the affidavits is a form of humiliation but there has just been too many folk producing false affidavits. I have seen it a few times mentioned in Nigerian forum where documents were considered fraudulent or just written up by the beneficiary.

Yes we have to pay the price of those before us. Thats why we front-load.

I know 4 couple out of Nigeria that were denied. Not because of Lagos or they were Nigeran or married to a nigerian but because they put together a very lacking petition. Hardly any evidence. They sent in the bare minimum or the required Doc's.

After reading and coming to VJ and getting needed help they either repetitioned ot got reaffirmed and all 4 of those couples are now together in the US.

Putting together the best petition is the key to success for any Nigerian.

Face time Face time. Nothing can substitute face time together. OP you and your lady been apart a long time you need to see each other before that interview.
