Hello, It seems I have the same situation as you have. I filed my I-130 to VT center, then I-129F to Chicago and i recived the NOA1.

Then over this weekend, I got email that they have transfered it to VT center. Don’t they process the I-129F (Spouse) in Chicago? If so, why did they transfer it VT center? Is that a good sign or not? I will appreciate your answer.

Howeve, I am caling the custmer center to see why is that and keep you posted.

ghshahrokh,

I-129f for spouse is processed at the National Benefits Center in Missouri. Chicago is their receiving station.

Recent anecdotal evidence indicates that the NBC has been forwarding at least some cases to the VSC for processing.
