Thanks so much, JaJo... maybe you will be the new Mew. :)

Thanks a lot Nessa. I should be leaving this to Rey but I am a huge control freak. Now I know what to incessantly bug him about!

You're welcome, Alex  Besides, I have to do something other than wait (for NOA2, a delivery that was suposed to be here last friday...) or I'll go (even more) crazy :P

Hi Alex,

Mine was sent from the NVC to the Consulate on Sept. 26th. On October 17th I called them and they had received my papers. I only found out my interview date at the end of October. A couple of days later I received my packet 4. My interview will be on Dec. 4th.

My advice is to keep calling and/or e-mailing until you find out the date they sent you the packet 3. So once you know that you can send it out.

Alix :star:

PS: I am sure you are an amazing cook, Alex!!!

Oh yeah I remember that. Well then where the hell is my petition!? Abu effing Dabi!?

If they sent it Oct 31, then it's been 13 days or so..... ok I can give them a little more time. Do you think Rey should just send in packet 3? PS I forgot what goes in packet 3? He knows but he's busy at work...

i think before he sends it in, he has to have the rdj number, and he can't get that till rio gets it......

but if you know when it left nvc, have you tried tracking the package to see where it went?

He can get the RDJ number from the NVC, Charles.

The dhl tracking never worked for my petition... I even called dhl and a very nice girl said NVC had sent 30 envelopes to Rio on the day they sent mine, while their website only showed 9. So try not to focus so much on that...

Oh, and btw, I think Rio is WAY busier than it was a few months ago when most of our Brazilian friends here were going through it... it took them ONE MONTH to receive my case from NVC. According to the Consulate, their mail room was incredibly full and after the envelopes reach their building, they have to go through that mail room before reaching someone's desk.

Good luck and keep calling them.
