Hi evry one yust want to let u guys know how my K-1 visa process so you dont loose heart.Filed in March 2012,NOA 1 in March,RFE october,infact my fiance did not sign one part of the petition,approved on November 27,NOA 2 in Nov.Petition left NVC christmas eve day,I wanted to spend christmas with my fiance ,me and my 2 kids,My youngest daughter had to get a visa but was denied,they say it shows intent to stay,I didn't see why I would want to stay since I was so close to interview,anyway i couldn't argue ,so I waited for packet three,which didnt come nither was i called ,so i called at the end of january ,couldn't get mrs Darling, spoke with another person who said interviews r set by NVC,Was frustrated a little but I persisted and finally got Mrs Darling at the consulate,she sait she think my packet is fight in front of her so she sent me via e-mail the forms i needed to bring and she gave me the doctors name and telephone #,said when I have done all this to email or call her ,sent email no response for like 4 days,so i called her didn't get her for like 2 days, finally got her,interview date set,I only two recent pic. of myself and fiance,phone records,1 wedding invte, receipt for engagement ring,and other doc. they asked for.Interview morning 9 o'clock was a bit nervous,only two persons in the place ,Nrs D tool my papers along with medical report and x-ray ,paid my fee and waited I prayed for a pleasant interviewer ,was called at 9.30,asked simple question about how we met,if he has kids ,their age,where would we live, and one ,i think trick question,will i work in the us ,I said yes but only when i am given work permit and a nursing licence,was told to get a job as soon as i get over so i can get medical insurance,thats when i knew i was approved.Had to take back an updated police record for my daughter.took that back on the 25,was told they will call me the next day,was hanging by the telephone ,and was about to call at 11.30 was actually on the phong to the embassy when i heard an incoming call,decided to answer the beep Mrs D was on the line ,said to pick up at 1.30 I didn't change my night shift uniform went right away,parked in burger king parking lot sneaked passed burger king security,cause i was in the handicap spot and went inside didn't have to wait cause by then was 1.20,was called by Mrs D collected three sealed envelope and x-ray to give to immigration officer at POE,and K-1 and 2 K-2 visas ,came out was so happy i kissed the security and hurried as fast as i could to my car,did the window up and started screaming,after composing my self i went home and was about to call my fiance when i realized i left my iPhone at the embassy had to go all the way in traffic to get it cause it's the weekend.That's all will travel next week, :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
