Hi there everyone

I really hope you can help me with this because its worrying me...I entered the country a few days ago on a tourist visa and the officer wrote on my i94 what appears to say for 26, 2013 but really its a tricky handwriting I dont understand..now the problem is that if it means 26 days I have already bought a plane ticket ...I thought I was going to be admitted for at least 30days...now it could also mean May 26, 2013..who know like I said its a horrible handwriting..Id like to know if there is any place where I can call to check which is the time I was allowed to stay in the country...

Thank u in advance

Where are you from ? Did you enter on B1/B 2 or VWP ? Did you enter on the 26 of the month?

If you entered on Feb 26th on a VWP it is very likely it says May 26

hi Mariana

I am from Ecuador..and yes I entered FEB 27,2013..on a B2 visa..

Ok so if you entered on the 27th than the fact that it says 26 th it means the day of the month you have to leave. I looked at my I94 i entered on the 20th of the month and my departure is 19 of the month. So 26 seems to be the date of the month in which you have to leave not the number of days you can stay but now you have to figure out which month that is :)

Keep in mind that admission is not for 3 months, it's for 90 days. If you count 90 days from Feb 27th, and that equates to May 26th, it is very likely that it says May 26th. Are you close to the airport at which you entered? If you are, you may want to give the CBP there a visit!
