Why should the PA stop taking money, when that's all that props it up ?

You said the US foots Palestine's bills; but it doesn't. It throws the PA some chump change in return for the PA enforcing Israel's occupation for it. But US donations to the PA are a drop in the bucket compared to the tax money the PA collects and the money it gets from the EU and other Arab countries (which isn't much, either.)

The rest of the world is much more educated about the facts of the conflict than your average American, who has been spoon-fed Likudnik propaganda by cheerleaders in the American mass media for the last 40 years. But Americans are starting to figure it out.

That wasn't a reference to PA's bills, that was a reference to the UN's bills.

This is how I see the Palestinian situation. There never was such a country. There was an attempt to form such a country and a country known as Israel on proscribed borders. Neither side liked the borders and Israel won and was formed. Well those with arms that claimed to speak for the Palestinians, tried again and again to change this situation by going back to war again and again. They even enlisted the support and assistance of damn near every country around there in some of those wars and they got their A$$es handed to them every time. And every time they go to war they've lost a little more and the Palestinian people have paid the price.

When they finally got autonomy for a region known as the Gaza strip. Well one side with more guns in Gaza decided they were the bigger voice and drove the other voice that would speak for the Palestinians out of Gaza. Soon those with guns that chose to speak for the Palestinians in Gaza were again not happy and kept starting little wars with their bigger neighbor and got their A$$es handed to them until the region is pretty much a basket case today, and the average person who lives their again paid the price.

So now the voice that speaks for the Palestinians that was drove out of Gaza decide they would go ask this group where people talk and talk and talk all day but do absolutely nothing themselves, to say they were a country. The bigger neighbor that the Palestinians were totally dependent on said do that and you will not be happy with result. So today the people who would speak for the Palestinians wave their flag and say those people said so and consider it a huge victory. And again the people who live under those that speak for them pay the price.

Such is the way of the world. You go to war, you loose, you don't have any say. Doesn't matter if its a bully who beat up the little guy, try to kick sand in his face over and over and he'll hand your A$$ to you every time.

It isn't so much about them being Muslim, but rather that the Israelis feel the right to do as they please courtesy of the Holocaust and very few are willing to stand up to them on account of AIPAC and the like.

Persecution and genocide dehumanizes people, a lesson the Israelis will learn after the tables turn again and they are no longer the oppressors, but the oppressed. History is cyclical like that, shame that no one learns.

While I agree with the bolded above 110%, I think it makes it easier for the rest of the world to turn a blind eye to it since they're oppressing filthy Muslims. Most other religions have a prejudice towards them anyway for other reasons.

The irony in it all is who the oppressors are in this case. Talk about a people playing the collective victim card for all it's worth, to justify their mis-treatment of other human beings.

But you know how they roll in this country. Muslims bad. Anyone who treats Muslims bad is good. It's binary thinking on a 1st grade level at it's best.

I have to step out now, but I will be back. Your post is so fraught with errors of fact and other misinformation that it will take a more than a few minutes to respond to it.
