Do you need to have a current Job to file for sibling

I was reading the thread to see if this question has been brought up before. Wife is not working at the moment, but is now USC, would like to file for her siblings, one is married and the other one is not, both of them are over 21.

Question

When filing the I130 do you need to currently hold a Job

Do you need to file affidat of support with the application

Or is that something that comes later when the application get approved and they would request those docs?

Gone but not Forgotten!

That comes much later - 10-12 years later. No proof of job or AOS is sent with I-130.

No job and no I-864 AOS required to file the I-130.

After 12 years when the siblings apply for immigration visas, your wife would then file the I-864. If she has no job or makes below the poverty line, then you or someone else can be a household member or joint sponsor for the I-864.
