I just got to Manila from my wife's province for a visit, 45 minute banca boat ride and then a 12 hour bus ride.... It sucks but it's life....

Aaron...That's quite a trip to get to your wife's place! :wow:

I guess Chinook and I have it easy because we just hop on the plane in Manila and an hour later we are in her hometown of Bacolod.

Oh I wish it was that easy. On the way down we broke it up with a night in Lucena. We go until the road ends and you know how province bus rides go. This time got to me.. 20 minutes out of the province we had a huge rock in the bus tire.. While trying to get the rock out they put a hole in it. 1 hour later tired changed and going again, that didn't bother me- its all the stopping, gotta buy a car or a float plane, lol...

I do agree both my wife and I 'alone' at times have done it . Takes only an hour from Tacloban to Manila by plane.

By the way my wife is from Baliran, by Tocloban.....Go Visayas

Yeah...The Visayas rock !!!

As to the program they teach, it could really be improved upon. At least from what my wife told me they told her.
