Somthing Missing On the Visa ??!!!

After a Mounth of having my visa issued ... Consulate called me this morning telling me that i need to go back there to have my visa signed or controlled i'm not pretty sure what the Co Meant ... Is that Normal ? I mean is there any chance to Cancel my visa ?

It sounds like a clerical error,I would call the consulate for more details. If they intend to cancel a visa,which is unheard of, they can do it without your passport by denying you entry at POE. Call the consulate,am betting an clerical error.

{OUR PROCESS}

*SENT PACKAGE DECEMBER 5TH 2012*

- Dec 9, 2012: Petition received by USCIS via USPS signature confirmation delivery

- Dec 13, 2012: Cleared check & NOA1 later in day

- Dec 18, 2012: NOA1 (hard copy) received in the mail dated the 12th Dec

- February 26, 2013: Petition is being transferred to another office

-February 28, 2013: Petition was received by unspecified office and alien registration number was changed.

-March 04, 2013: Called USCIS & found out our file was transferred to California Service Center.

-June 4, 2013 NOA2

-June 6, 2013: NVC Received petition

-June 19, 2013 : Petition left NVC

-July 3, 2013: Packet 3 Received (via email)

- Aug 13 2013: Interview Date : (Rescheduled for a later date)

- September 25, 2013: New interview date, initially approved but put into AP for insufficient co-sponsor.

- Sept. 25- Nov. 20th 2013: In AP due to insufficient co-sponsor

- Nov 21, 2013: CEAC website says visa is Issued :) YAY!

- Nov 26, 2013: Visa in hand dancin5hr.gif

wow, good thing you hadn't tried to travel with your visa yet!!! Don't worry , they aren't going to take your visa away, they just found something they did wrong and want to correct it before you use it..

I would definitely call back and ask exactly what did your visa stamp needed. Only because I remember one case where the person was told that their visa was granted and they would be sending their passport back to them and when it didn't arrive when they called back to the embassy and got their passport sent to them but on the visa there was "cancelled" on it because of suspicion of fraud. I'm not too clear but if you look back in VJ under the MENA section it's there.

Not that you can really do anything about it but what if they decide that the visa stamp was given prematurely and they just want you to bring in your passport for them to "delay" your actual visa? Like if they found something in the background check they want to research? Please keep us informed when you do find out what is wrong with your visa.
