US Citizen filed for I-130 for stepdaughter less than 18

My husband petitioned my daughter who is 17 years old , she is in Philippines. He is a US Citizen; received date was 8/31/12; notice date was 9/3/12; priority date: 8/31/12. Am so worried, can anyone shed some light , no notices yet except the first NOA. I adjusted my status here so i really have no idea. Thank you. I just joined VJ.I really really appreciate your help.I have no idea at all about the procedure. I keep checking the status update at the USCIS website but that is of no use, no vital information that we can get is just says:

Initial Review

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

The average processing time for this type of I-130 petition is usually between 5-6 months from priority date. You should be receiving some news soon.

You can contact your respective Senator and congressman. With your authorization, their liaisons can inquire the status of your case. This is very useful for some members.
