Hello,

I hope you are doing fine.

I'm trying to fill out the form I-864 (Affidavit of support) to my husband who is the principal immigrant and I'm the petitioner. It's for adjustment of status file. In the household size (part 5-21) it says :

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit

a.Enter the number you entered on line 10 ----> So I entered 1

Persons Not sponsored in this affidavit

b.YOURSELF ----> 1

c. If you are currently married enter "1" for your spouse. -----> SO here is my question: My husband is the principal immigrant in part 2 and I'm the petitioner, What should I put in this one ?

Please help me I really appreciate it and thanks in advance :)

This qn is asked everyday. The question states "do not count anyone twice". That is your answer.

Thank you so much for your response. It'm alittle bit confused with it. So should I leave it it blank ? Because I'm married to the principal immigrant.

yes leave it blank. This is a form for multiple situations. Your husband is the immigrant for the form, not your spouse.
