Hello people.

I'm having a really bad time now. It's been 2 days since I'm home and saw my love for the last time and I'm so sad. Can't work and cry all day and thinking negative thoughts.I realize almost all here go through the same or worse. I just needs tips how to keep my mind off. Not thinking bad scenarios or the "what ifs".

It's really hard for me since I live in another country just working and being in this limbo state of the visa procedure. No going out, work is hard etc. I keep going to the gym and play games online to forget. But I really need your opinions.

So. What are you doing or handling to make this waiting easier?

Hmmm, what I do?

Plan, organize, organize again, start packing some things, attempt to be patient and fail, really clean, get some fresh air, etc.

I imbibe and play computer games. Work, pick up as many shifts as I can, stay current with films/tv, imbibe, skype with in-laws, clean the house, play with lego, forums, etc.

Still feels empty though, mind you.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Just try to do anything that will keep your mind busy. When you feel down, remember the reward. Try to stay in contact with your partner as much as you can. Take it one day at a time, don't think about how long the process will take, instead just concentrate when you'll be talking, texting, video chatting again. Focus on the moment, not the wait. When you finish the wait and are together again, it will seem like it was so short. I know that seems impossible now, but it really will.

I work out a lot.

I 'break' things in my house so that I have to 'fix' them.

I have torn down a couple of walls in my house now so that I can 'insulate' them.

Cleaning up all of those messes takes a decent amount of time as well. Mostly when you get down to trying to wipe down all the dust that is all over the inside of your house now.

There is never a shortage of things to 'fix' and 'insulate'.

And for variety learn how to bake or cook new things and work out a lot.

Along with everything everyone else said.

Thank you all. Well we skype a lot even when he is at his work! He has his own place "office" like so. But he cant talk only write. It's so funny. I'm not enjoying time with friends and family since I'm here in this country all alone. This is the case that I moved here because of a job so we have more money and I get more experience in my field. Plus I used to love my job until people started to getting weird and things more stressful.

I go to the gym too, at one point I used to go 5 times a week lol which was good but I hardly had any time to sleep then xD

I play Star Wars and League of legends in computer games.

That with the cooking, I try but fail I'm a terrible cook but I don't give up :D

Read books too. Sigh ahh this waiting.. Why has it to be so hard? In Europe you can travel in any country without a visa just like that! :(

I haven't started that wait yet but I do plan on starting to go through the abundanceof paper I have colected ands tart thinning out the ####### I have in my appartment. I am moving all my things down so the less I have to cart around that isn't necessary the better. I am terrible at being patient, so we do alot of talking on skype, watching movies together on netflix, playing in an online virtual world together as a way of spending time together.

It is never easy being away from your loved one and it is easy to get depressed if you don't keep the positives in plain sight. perhaps put a list on your bathroom mirror and look at it every day. Things that are positives in your life now, and things to come.

The thing is that I got obsessed with the waiting for the NOA2 so I'm so not concentrated at my work and I'm doing mistakes that can earn my job :( I hope it's not to late for me to redeem myself. No job = no money for anything anymore.. sigh . I did a list thank you. It helps a bit.

That's about the worst thing you can do is obsess over the waiting. It doesn't accomplish anything. Your NOA2 is going to come whether you obsess or not. Trust me, the waiting part is the easy part. Then it'll be crunch time, and you'll want everything to slow down a minute so you can breathe.
