Temporary CA Drivers License

hi there! i was given a 2 month temporary drivers license here in CA since i passed the written test. All i need is the actual driving test. What happens if i didn't get a chance to take the driving test during those 2 month period? do i need to retake the written test? thanks!

Your Written Test is valid for 1 year so you should be fine. But please note once your temporary DL expires you cannot legally drive.

If you're in California, you're aware you can only drive for the first 10 days you arrive, even with an international licence, I presume?

I had an app on my phone from the CA DMV that throws out mock tests. I failed the first 7 times LOL. Some of the questions are bordering on ridiculous. I've since downloaded the CA drivers handbook, and I'm now passing the mock tests fairly easily. There are still a few slippery questions that crop up though.
