I will also be at interview with The Hubs (though that probably comes as a surprise to no one, given our circumstances). Just waiting on the notification from NVC/DOS. We will have our POE in Dublin, Ireland. There are Immigration and Customs agents at Dublin airport who process you there. We are super-lucky, I know, to have the whole process finished BEFORE we even get on the plane! However, once we're on that plane, we have a 7 hour flight with an 18-month-old. blink.gif We'll most likely fly into JFK and then on to Charlotte, NC, where my folks will pick us up. We'll drive to Charleston, SC the following day.

MeredythB, I am also overseas with my wife, who is immigrating, and two USC children. What is the rule on going to the interview? I have read some posts where the embassy demanded the spouse be present and others where the spouse wan't allowed in the embassyeb0dfafc.gif

It all depends on what your particular embassy allows. I recommend calling or emailing your embassy to confirm. There can be some good info in your country's portal. Just click on your flag. good.gif

The exact same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I was so mad. mad.gif

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

The exact same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I was so mad. mad.gif

SO MAD! ranting33va.gif I got all kinds of excited, so it was a real letdown. Crossing fingers that we both get good news shortly.

I had a dream that my water broke at the interview. :wacko: I think I might go certifiably bat sh!t crazy by the time I get this interview date! :lol: :lol:

Well, THAT would be one way to get the interview over with quickly! Hopefully with an approval, too! laughing.gif

I have a feeling we're going to hear something next week when they start scheduling again. It'll be for May interviews, but at this point any interview is fine with me. kicking.gif

Hi everybody!

My mom is scheduled for interview next week. She has a friend who had an interview last week. and she metioned to my mom that the consul asked her "traveling application".. I don't have any idea about "traveling application"... I would really appreciate any information can give..
