Aaaack, I got an email from NVC this morning, and I was SOOO excited as soon as I saw it, because I thought it would be our interview email, but it wasn't. mad.gifmad.gifmad.gif It was just the stupid case complete email, even though they completed the case a week ago. How cruel! laughing.gif I am so impatient!

When I was waiting for my interview letter, I would curse everyone that emailed me that wasn't NVC. lol from Macy's to family....."Seriously, Grandma, STOP EMAILING ME CHAIN LETTERS!!!!!!!!". LOLOL

HUSBAND'S CASE

9/17/2011 - sent I-13

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

05/15/2013: Emailed embassy BEGGING them to let boys drop off passports for visa insertion. IT WORKED!!!

Is everybody getting their P4 the same day the interview is being scheduled? I'd been told before that it took a while for them to send out the email after scheduling, thus the reason for calling all the time... but if they've been sending it out on time lately, I can't think of a good reason to justify calling like crazy, as I want to... whistling.gif

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

the people that were scheduled the first week in March just about had the P4 email sent put same day. Infact that is how some got to know they had been scheduled for interview. The delay in sending out the email only began some months ago.

the people that were scheduled the first week in March just about had the P4 email sent put same day. Infact that is how some got to know they had been scheduled for interview. The delay in sending out the email only began some months ago.

I got to know of the interview date only when i recieved the P4 email. I did not call NVC thinking it was early to check the interview date.

Congrats to everyone who just got their dates! I feel like they come in spurts! This thread is quiet for almost a week and all of a sudden four people get an interview date in the same day! The fact that they're still scheduling interviews makes me hopeful that we still have a small chance for an April date. good.gif Lots of luck to all the new interviewees!

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.
