Nope! It is most definitely harder. I'm having a VERY hard time waiting right now. I think this will be a long weekend...:(

Aagghh, I know! I'll be happy when this is all over so I can enjoy weekends again. Lately they've just become a long stretch of time where we're guarenteed no updates. mad.gif Never thought I'd look forward to Mondays! laughing.gif

USCIS stage ( 66 days)

NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).

Is it just me, or is being patient while waiting for an interview 239430984 times harder than waiting for NOA2? I feel so much more impatient this time around. blink.gif

No it is definitely harder cos you know you are near the finish line :yes:

I had to device a method to keep my sanity at some point and that was to choose two days every week ( after daily calling for copule of weeks) to call NVC ; Tue/Thurs or Wed/Fri. I then tried focusing on other things with much discipline and it helped a lot.It was not until March 1st that I resumed daily calling again.

Yes, gregger was there but the interview date wasn't. Weird.

LOL! I had concluded I was having 'pregnancy brain' affect my eyes too.

I try to do the same thing! When I start NVC, I made myself wait a week or two between each step before calling, which worked out well, because then every time I called I got good news. I only ended up having to call three times: once to see if they'd received it, once to see if they'd assigned my case numbers, and once to see if my case was complete. It was hard being patient but it was a lot more rewarding in the end and less stressful, I think.

Waiting for an interview though, I'm itching to call all the time! I'll have to choose two days a week to do it, otherwise I'll drive myself nuts. wacko.gif

Ok so DHL picked up a package from NVC yesterday @14:14 enroute to Lagos, Nigeria.

NVC usually mails out case files to consulates next day after interview assignment so that has got to be ours!!!!

Waybill: 8860840586

It should arrive Lagos Friday. and consulate should have details in their system by Tuesday.

I just tracked your package, it weighs 16.2 lbs :o I don't understand what did you guys send to NVC :o Why doesn't my package weigh that much. it weights only 3.5 lbs :unsure: I hope that everything's fine.

USCIS I-130 Petition for Spouse

September 2012: Filed from abroad to Chicago Lockbox

4 days later: NOA1, Routed to California Service Center

7 days later: Transferred because of new jurisdiction

5 days later: Case Status changed to: Under processing at USCIS office

NOA2 arrived 78 days after NOA1 :)

*I-130 Approval Notice hardcopy finally received in Pakistan, the only notice that arrived.

Well I know my package alone I sent to NVC is 20 lbs but its still at NVC.

I sent more evidence that was accrued between March and December. 2-Photobooks.

Just called NVC my case has not left the building yet. Cool. She assured me it will be at embassy before interview. LOL Like I am so not worried about that.
