Well just called NVC and they said NOPE my case has not been sent yet. So that 16.2 lbs must be you LaShawnda, NDU and 2HeratsR1. hehe

I think I need a special truck. Plus i am requesting my marriage certificate out my stuff to be sent back to. Its the original and well I don't trust them. Hubby has the certified so i want mine back :)

i dont think they will give back the certificate though at this stage cos it has become part of the Packet 4 and is listed there. he will get it back at interview.

Is everyone receiving a letter pretty quickly after the interview date is assigned?

If I had waited just 15mins that day, I would have been made aware of my interview by email cos apparetly it was being sent while I was on the phone with NVC.

wow!!!! that was fast.

Just got an eamil from Lagos consulate( we had emailed them yesterday about accommodating us for an earlier date).

"Due to the heavy volume of requests for interview appointments, we are unable to accommodate any request advance appointments for anyone at this time."

Oh well One day at a time.......

My case was completed yesterday. Will NVC schedule interviews next week as well? I have seen few VJ'rs from India whose cases were completed last week, got their interview dates this week.

Nobody can say really. it depends on whether they still hasve slots left and if its your turn to be scheduled. remember Vj members are only a fraction of applicants NVC deals with WORLDWIDE.

My case was completed just couple of days after the last Nigerian VJ members who got their dates in Feb for march. I so hoped mine will come few days later but it took more than a month to get my date.

OMG we keep taking Gregger off with each update. Its not intentional (L)

Nobody can say really. it depends on whether they still hasve slots left and if its your turn to be scheduled. remember Vj members are only a fraction of applicants NVC deals with WORLDWIDE.

My case was completed just couple of days after the last Nigerian VJ members who got their dates in Feb for march. I so hoped mine will come few days later but it took more than a month to get my date.

OMG we keep taking Gregger off with each update. Its not intentional (L)

Is it just me, or is being patient while waiting for an interview 239430984 times harder than waiting for NOA2? I feel so much more impatient this time around. blink.gif

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

Thanks for keeping my interview date there. I want to make sure that these are here for the next ones that spend hours going through VJ looking for all the information they can handle. Also thanks to everyone now and in the past that has contributed to this site. I had a bet with my wife and our family on when we would get our interview date, after hours of looking at everyone in Mexico I could find I put my Money on April 11th. Just goes to show how much is really here on VJ for us in this process. Best of luck to everyone out there playing this waiting game.

Nope! It is most definitely harder. I'm having a VERY hard time waiting right now. I think this will be a long weekend...:(
