Congratulations everyone on their interviews! April is going to be an exciting month and we are almost there!!!

Can anyone tell me where I can find a sample list of interview questions specifically for the IR/CR-1? I'm already prepping hubs on dates (he still always says 2011 is the year we met even though he knows it's 2010 and just forgets! :S) but I'd love for him to be better prepared so he doesn't get to nervous during the interview.

Its best you go to "embassy reviews" on the top screen of VJ and select your country. That way you narrow your study to question trends in that particular embasy/consulate and become more familiar with it. Just dont get bogged down by any negative review. A lot of people come out to say it is easier than what is painted by some. Key words are preparation and confidence.

Ok so DHL picked up a package from NVC yesterday @14:14 enroute to Lagos, Nigeria.

NVC usually mails out case files to consulates next day after interview assignment so that has got to be ours!!!!

Waybill: 8860840586

It should arrive Lagos Friday. and consulate should have details in their system by Tuesday.

The couple that introduced is actually mentioned him to me in late Nov after they had told him about me. we didnt start talking till Mid Dec when he summoned courage to call me after I okd my number. To me that is when we 'met'. We both had this understanding at the initial stage until he suddenly started changing dates to middle 2011 . He states the flow between us is too solid to have been late 2011 and I keeping saying " baby pls dnt joke with stuff like this cos you may need this info for ur interview and we dont need any mess up now"

Well now when I ask him he goes " you say we first talked in Dec 2011" LOL!!!

On a whim and since i can't seem to fall asleep again, I called NVC and in 10 seconds, a nice lady came on and said " your file went out on the 5th so just give them 3-5 business days to receive it"

Now using that info (shipper's reference EXP 04 MAR 2013A but picked up on the 5th @ 1424 ) from NVC enroute to Lagos, Nigeria is

Waybill: 8860840306

This should arrive lagos today and hopefully their system locates it by monday in case of inquries

On a whim and since i can't seem to fall asleep again, I called NVC and in 10 seconds, a nice lady came on and said " your file went out on the 5th so just give them 3-5 business days to receive it"

of course judging by the timing of the pick up and when we got the interview dates, it makes more sense that the first waybill I posted is where my package is....

I thought Olumide's wife wasn't telling when her date is?!?! Are you going off her timeline where she wrote (30 days)? Cause I think that just meant it took her 30 days to get the interview. She was posting how many days it took her for each portion of this whole thing.

Interview scheduled Apr 16th. Just called NVC told that my case is completed. Haven't got the interview letter yet.

Kazulie you are absolutely correct I am not telling! ...yeah my time line is just telling how many days it took to get the interview date ....NDU is doing her own calculations lol to try and figure it out...but it's all good....I know we want to figure out how NVC schedules but I just don't think there is a set pattern.....I feel they schedule kind of at will...newho....congrats to all that have a date! Well I do want to say that the reason for this thread way back when Dana and Divine started was to have one place where all the interview waiters for current month case complete could mingle and wait. There was a Nigerian explosion then I think like 10 couples.

It does have alot of bearing knowing from Case Complete to assignment to interview. And seeing all the countries listed does help those that will come after us gauge how long they may have to wait.

We have all seen or asked ourselves "How long from case complete is my interview" well this helps. And to have a whole community there with you feeling your pain and anxiety well ya'll feel me.

So all is good. I hope I will be getting my tickets soon also.

Seeing cases that just got their case completes this week or last week and already have their interview dates makes me hopeful! I hope to hear something soon - hubby is getting super excited that we're almost done and is nagging me constantly to check my email.
