Congrats! Same date as mine :)

Length of time at NVC must not count for much, since we've been over a year at NVC, and no date yet. I think you're probably right about case complete being the biggest determining factor (at least for Nigeria). If it went by priority date, I think ours would have been at least close to first scheduled, since our priority date was in August of 2011.

Sorry about that, I replied to the wrong post

Seems Case Complete rules. I know for me I am over 6 months after 2HeartsR1 but we are only 1 day apart. Who knows their crazy system. I do know there were 7 for Nigeria and they gave out thr top 4 in order of case complete. I got the earliest date. I think 7 months at NVC counts for something LOL

My previous reply was supposed to be in response to this, but must have hit the wrong button somewhere. My case has been at the NVC for over a year, I'm interested to see how that works out once I find out my date.

This is my take on it....

They hand out the interview dates according to earliest case completes, BUT, depending on when your priority date is, THAT'S what date they will give you.

For example,

Person A has case complete on Feb. 1 but her priority date is only 5 months ago (she flew through uscis).

Person B has case complete on Feb. 10 but her priority date is 10 months ago (she had problems with uscis).

Person A finds out her interview date today and it is set for May 20.

Person B finds out her interview date tomorrow and it is set for May 10.

Even though Person A had case complete before Person B, she ended up with a later interview date because her priority date is way after Person B.

That's how I'm looking at it anyway.

This is an interesting theory. My case may help to show whether you are correct or not. My case complete was after 4 others going through Nigeria, and they know their interview dates, while I do not yet. However, my priority date is in August of 2011 ( I am thinking way before theirs). Once my interview is scheduled, I will be comparing now to see if the actual date is before or after theirs...

I've been watching and waiting for you to get your interview date, M&C. Only thing about my theory is that, I think they block off days. Like, the first 3 days are for the early early filers. Then the next 3 days are the early filers. And so on. But since your case complete is a few weeks behind others, the spots held for you might already be taken, so you might get a later date. Understand?!?! I don't know...my first mistake is probably trying to figure out this process at all! Lol

wow wow wow well congratulations to all of those that have an interview date...I will be so glad when we have ours :(....oh wait! we do have ours too :)..... God is so amazing! Ndu sorry you had to go to work girl but you got the ball rolling for Nigeria :) lol....after talking to hubby I told him I would call NVC today...we both just had that "feeling"...after we hung up I got on my knees to pray and to thank God just for being God...and then I got up dialed NVC put the blue tooth in my ear starting cooking and reading my bible from my phone...(I was reading about a part of the children of Israel's journey where they were growing weary but God gave them victory as the endured hmmm)...well as I was reading I seen a email notification pop up so I clicked it and it was from NVC! I couldn't open the attachment from my phone so I ran upstairs to my computer screaming, praising God and crying because I knew what it was....I logged in and sure enough our interview date! Due to my husband's wishes I can't share the actual date but i did want to at least let you know we got it! All I know is God is faithful and for all of you still waiting just keep trusting God your time will come and his timing is best!:dance::dance: Thank you for all the help, support, love and prayers along the way! I think you are unto something here...only one outlier though. Olumides-girl has a later PD than Dwheels but got the earliest Interview date( based on my math).

I thought Olumide's wife wasn't telling when her date is?!?! Are you going off her timeline where she wrote (30 days)? Cause I think that just meant it took her 30 days to get the interview. She was posting how many days it took her for each portion of this whole thing.

I'm not smarter than anyone else...I just have 3 cases that no lawyer would even touch so I've had to do it all myself. :-( I've obsessively researched on VJ pretty much any and everything from filing forms to hard cases like mine to figuring out when people will be approved down to the exact date (remember that, DWheels? Lol). I'm getting pretty good at it.

Anyway, congrats to all my 9ja peeps. I will start us off in a few weeks but y'all will have to finish for us, as my boys won't get to come until may or June or July. :-(. I'm so excited for us all though!!!!

My hubby has to come in May, no later than that or else he will miss the Delivery. Experiencing this whole pregnancy thing is hard enough. I just Bless God that he even has the opportunity to be here.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!
