A few days ago, I received an email from USCIS stating that they are transferring my petition from Vermont Service Center to an USCIS office. Today, I received the official email and text that my petition has been received at unspecified USCIS office. I haven't received the hard copy in the mailbox yet so this is all I know so far.

So I decided it was time to give good ol' USCIS a call to see why it has been transferred and where it has been transferred. The man simply told me that it was normal and that it was most likely being sent to my local office. When I asked why he said it was so that a decision could be made on our petition and that it would still take the average time of waiting for the NOA2 if it was being sent from the .

My question to you guys is: Has this happened to any of you? IS this indeed normal? blink.gif

When I posted the email in another thread some kind VJers told me not to worry about it that we'll probably get approved a bit faster but I am just a big ball of worry so I wanted to get some more input on it after this small update. But Ahmed and I also read somewhere that they may possibly be wanting me to come in for an interview as well? Do any of you know about this?

Thanks for any responses guys :)

Thanks for your input. Not disregarding your response, so don't take it the wrong way. Just making sure it still is normal. :)

It is normal. For me, I never got transfer notices and only learned through calling every few months and getting to T2 support.

Finished!

Thank you! I hate to ask the same things over and over but my anxiety gets the best of me sometimes! Thank you both for responses (and re-responses @evylin :))
