i have read the CR-1 guides in VJ guides, but in my case, i was previous H1 visa in USA 3 years back, then i returned to my home country, now i am married to USC, she is going to apply for I-130 PETITION soon, currently i am living outside usa and working in company.

my question is, apart from the regular documents, do i need to send any aditional document related to my previous h1 visa, do i even need to send any document or is it not needed?

i was living legally all my stay in usa , but do i need to prove it?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

The CR-1 is more about proving you have a bonafide relationship with your spouse. I don't see a need to submit any proof of your H1-B status as part of your I-130 package.

I met my husband while he was in the U.S. on a J-1 visa and we did not submit anything related to his J-1 with the I-130.

Your H1-B may come up at the interview though so be prepared to answer questions pertaining to it.

Good luck!

I am the petitioner.
