Just a quick question re photographs to go with IV package, in the FAQs it says

Two passport-style photographs (2" x 2") of beneficiary (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

Is it an NVC requirement that the photos have these details on the back or has it come for VJers experience of having had photos mislaid at the NVC??

If anyone knows, could you help me please?

thank you :)

That sounds like the IV bill being generated to me!!!

I believe it's recommendation. The reasoning is this: since the photographs are so small, thus so easy to misplace, having the name and case number written on the back will make it a ton easier to match it back up to the case file. Do NOT skip out on writing on the back of those photos. Just write lightly in pencil (or pen).

Thanks Saylin, I cannot find anything on the travel.state.gov website that requires this, but it seems like good common sense. My husband will be getting our package in the mail this afternoon,I am finally allowing myself to get excited :)

Our IV bill was finally marked as PAID this morning! But spouse couldn't send IV packet because the local DHL office closed just a few minutes later. :bonk: We'll have to wait until the DHL office reopens the next morning. :clock:

HELP!!!! I'd booked my medical around a month ago and have been in contact with my doctor about vaccinations etc (as I informed them I'll need them updated for my medical) They gave me a photocopy of my vaccination records, however I got my MMR and tetnus updated about a week ago. (This information won't be on the paper records I have, although she did give me a little booklet with the vaccinations, the date they were given and her signature-all written)

I just called the doctor today to ask for a copy of my updated vaccinations and the (very rude) woman informed me that they have sent away ALL their paper records and don't have anyones records in the computer because they are changing from paper to computer based. (I.e. Apparenly they don't have ANYTHING abut my vaccinations that I can get a hold off, other than what I've already got!!) I am SOOO mad because throughout this whole process I told them I needed them and they've now sent them away and she's told me it will be 2-3 weeks before they are back! (My medical is a week today)

Is the photocopy of my records plus the booklet with the two new vaccinations (signed by the nurse) going to be enough??? I am panicking!! :( :(

You might want to ask in the UK sub forum, but adults as far as I know need only oral confirmation of Varicella and proof of the TD, MMR, and flu shot in season. We only have a handwritten vaccine sheet from last week from the doctor here.

You're signing in using IE, right? Bills sometimes don't show up at all on other browsers. IE is the ONLY browser you should be using for the payment portal.

And if you are using IE or you checked on IE after reading this, it could still be invoiced today. Just keep an eye out ;)

I would assume copies would be alright, but I'm not sure. I'd suggest calling the doctor back up tomorrow (if they're open) and asking (hopefully you won't get that rude woman again).
