I think I need to post more on this thread. Just a minute ago, I was wondering if checking the fee being paid was worth my time or not. And now I login and it's PAID :D :D :D

Sounds good. Actually I am just leaving for a trip to visit my wife's home country and her family. I am not sure how easy it will be call NVC everyday from Iran but I will try to call at least every couple of days. I will be out for a total of two weeks.

When are you leaving?

Would someone remind me… What do I do now that both our AOS and IV bills are paid and the both packets are sent - the AOS is received. The IV packet will be there Monday. Do I need to call to make sure they haven't fallen asleep at the phone, or will they notify me via email?

If you can, call daily to find out the status on your case. Right now, focus on the AOS being reviewed. Once the IV package has arrived at NVC, include that as well.

The only email you'll get (besides the interview letter) is a possible [false] checklist.

Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

If you can, call daily to find out the status on your case. Right now, focus on the AOS being reviewed. Once the IV package has arrived at NVC, include that as well.

Still no IV bill (day 14 from DS-261), but the NVC operator told me my AOS package was reviewed on March 12 and accepted so at least we have progress!

2012-12-19 - I-130 Sent
2012-12-20 - NOA1
2013-01-25 - NOA2 - email(36 days from NOA1 date)
2013-01-29 - Email saying NOA2 was mailed to me on Jan 28

2013-02-08 - Received hardcopy of NOA2 (Notice Date Jan. 28, 2013).

Quick question : is it fair to assume it takes a few days for the IV bill to show up once DS-3032 is accepted? Is it a matter of 2-3 days or longer?

Okay I am sending my co-sponsor a list of the stuff that needs to be done... I just wanted to make sure it looks good and nothing is missing.

- Joint sponsor’s documents:

• Form I-864 (Signed and dated)

• 2011, 2010, 2009 Federal Tax Return and W2 (is 2012 required or not?)

• Proof of US Citizenship

• Letter of Employment stating income

• Pay stubs from the most recent six months

Does that sound good ?? :blush:

Called again today. It's not entered into the system but at least I have an exact received date. :)

Funny thing was I told my husband to call them starting march 6, until I decided to try out the google voice. He never did call them. Sometimes I wonder about him... unsure.gif

my husband is kinda like that... he would just tell me, let our lawyer or para legal handle it... he would even refuse to get his tax return transcripts in advance... his reason is that our lawyer hasnt told him yet the requirements... and too bad our lawyer said she will just send the list of requirements once we have a case number... darn... :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: so i have no choice but to wait... expecting for another 10-15 days delay for getting his requirements.. I'm just hoping getting the tax transcripts wont take more than 3 days. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

:lol: and here I thought only my husband husband is lazy about calling NVC. I agree, Silly husbands!!! Unfortunately, in my case, since he is petitioning for his mom, I still am at his mercy about calling NVC :bonk:

my NOA2 was last March 4 after a long wait....hopefully this stage won't take too long.

mine is March 6 and hoping too that it wont take long...

by the way, your POE is also in NY... same here...:)

I have been exactly the same, three days now since my husband paid our IV bill and it still says In Process!! I wouldn't like to guess how often I have checked it.

Does the AOS or IV fee status ever change from "In Process" to "Paid" during the daytime? I am wondering if I should keep checking that page so often. I bet my behavior right now is on borderline of obsessive compulsive disorder

9/29/06 - Started dating my husband (LDR For 5 years after 6/07)
8/22/12 - Married in Japan
10/10/12 - I-130 Sent (Japan Post)
10/12/12 - Received at Chicago Lock Box
10/15/12 - NOA1(no email, had to call and find out and recieved the hard copy 10/22/12) case at NBC
12/14/12 - NOA2(no email once again,randomly checked it online)
01/07/13 - NVC Case Received
01/25/13 - Case Number assigned and AOS fee billed(somehow NVC didn't write down the proper emails for my husband and I )
