Called again today. It's not entered into the system but at least I have an exact received date. :)

Funny thing was I told my husband to call them starting march 6, until I decided to try out the google voice. He never did call them. Sometimes I wonder about him... unsure.gif

Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

Does the AOS or IV fee status ever change from "In Process" to "Paid" during the daytime? I am wondering if I should keep checking that page so often. I bet my behavior right now is on borderline of obsessive compulsive disorder

It can change at any time! And don't worry, we all have OCD during this immigration process!

same thing happen to me. I don't know when my exact date really is. I called everyday. Now I'm getting to dates.

Backgrounder -

payment status was updated at 3 PM and 11 PM EST, daily.

That was working for almost 2 years.

Something changed apprx 17 months ago, where there was not any 'observed and constant' time for this update anymore - all was chaos, with no discernable pattern for 'when'.

So - please harness yer OCD, make notes on each checking that you do, with at least:

date/time, viewable, result.

And report back once you show something (or both) paid.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

03/13/2013, 07:00am - Checked the Fee site, got message saying something along the lines of "I can not login at this time, contact NVC"

03/13/2013, 08:00am - Same can not login message

03/13/2013, 10:13am - Same can not login message

03/13/2013, 11:20am - Same can not login message

.... This goes on almost every hour, sometimes twice a minute on two different browser ;)

03/13/2013, 04:10pm - Recieved AOS Invoice

03/13/2013, 04:14pm - paid fee, I was so much in rush that I accidentally clicked back button on IE instead of print button thereby increased the intensity of OCD ;)

03/14/2013, 12:07am - stayed up late night to see if status changed to PAID after midnight (and it did not :( )

03/14/2013, 06:25am - Fee status still In-Progress

....... Few more checks every hour

03/14/2013, 12:52pm - Finally gave up on status changed and vented about it on VJ forum

03/14/2013, 01:01pm - Status did change to PAID

Just wait till the beginning of next week (a week max.) and start calling.

Keep in mind that you may receive some false checklists in your email.

Congrats on progress !

Sounds good. Actually I am just leaving for a trip to visit my wife's home country and her family. I am not sure how easy it will be call NVC everyday from Iran but I will try to call at least every couple of days. I will be out for a total of two weeks.

Hi there,

I already took the medical exam appointment and all of a sudden, I feel empty, is there really nothing else I should be doing?

After all the stress and rush, it's a weird feeling! :wacko:

Oh, man I wish we were at that point. I can imagine. I've done nothing but this for the last two months. I am thinking I will go apply for a job at the NVC once I am back in the States.jest.gif

Would someone remind me… What do I do now that both our AOS and IV bills are paid and the both packets are sent - the AOS is received. The IV packet will be there Monday. Do I need to call to make sure they haven't fallen asleep at the phone, or will they notify me via email?
