You can send the packages either together or separately, it doesn't matter. It's up to you.

The IV is invoiced a few days after the DS-3032 is accepted and added to your case file. When did you send the DS-3032?

Saylin thanks alot for your reply I sent the ds-3032 it on march the 5th on march the 7th i received this email but i wasn't sure is it an acceptance or what

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the

immigrant visa petition: XXXXXXX filed by XXXXXXXXX on

behalf of XXXXXXXXXX.

We updated the mailing address for this case. Please continue to

notify the NVC of any change of mailing address, or change in personal

situation that may affect the principal applicant's entitlement to a

visa.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner,

principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an

instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

they then invoiced the AOS bill on march the 7th also and it appeared paid on the 8th since then i didn't hear from them.

The operators will only have a new status update once the review has started. Until then, they won't see either package in their system as being received. Just keep calling once a day, you'll hear something soon yes.gif

Hey saylin, I think they might issue an RFE for my wife's DS-230 part 1 Q.32 list of employment for the past 10 years. She only listed the one employment she only had and does not cover 10 years. We didnt write unemploy in the years she wasn't working. My quess was they only asking for employment and unemploy is not a job. I quess wrong. smh

Was that email a direct reply to the DS-3032 email? Cause it doesn't mention the DS-3032 whatsoever. And two days would be pretty fast for a DS-3032 acceptance. It's typically taking a week or so right now.

As long as you listed all her employment, then it should be fine. Not everyone has worked for 10 years. I certainly haven't. I only had 3 jobs spanning about 3 years. I had no issues with mine.

My husband called NVC this morning about sending AOS package even if the fee status is 'in process' and the operator told us to wait till it shows 'paid'. I guess operators never have their stories straight so I am not going to risk anything and will wait till the payment shows up as paid. The money is already deducted from the bank account already so hopefully not much wait.

What an experience today. The opposition political parties called a strike in Nepal today - that's a forced countrywide closure through threats of violence and vandalism. I decided to hell with it, "should have sent my wife's IV packet off on Monday and I am certainly going to get it sent today." So we rode into the city on my motorbike, got stopped by protestors half a dozen times, let through half a dozen times and finally made it to FedEx office in Kathmandu. We got it sent off - who would have thought that sending a parcel could be so stressful. Only in Nepal. Now comes the long wait. Hoping we don't get any RFEs, and a quick case complete.

Thanks saylin, u ease my mind, I was thinking for those years she wasnt working we should have put unemploy.I put down the only one employment she only had for the past ten years.

I remember when i was filling the I-130 for her under list of emplyment for the past five(5)years I put her only(1) job she only had and uemploy for the rest and for some reason forgot to do same for DS-230. I hope it wont cause any problems at the consulate if the match the DS-230 and the I-130 and finds uemploy on the I-130 and none on the DS-230. This process is driving me paranoid.

Gather all the documents for the interview!

And not sure how Belgium works, but is there a courier you need to sign up with or something to that affect so you can get your visa and passport returned to you after a successful interview?

Yup, it can be half-and-half. Just make sure anything hand written is clear and legible.
