Okay so IV package should have arrived at NVC last Thursday and AOS package arrived Monday. NVC are saying they haven't been reviewed and it could take up to 20 business days for that to happen. Is this one of their 'we're going to give you a number in the hope you don't call back till then' things or is that how long it usually takes for the packages to be reviewed?

I would do a sample of a few a month to show you communicate regularly about things a married couple would talk about.

Some people seem to think you should overload Nigeria, but just remember the CO can ask about anything at all in the chat logs and if you are anything like us, my husband can't even remember what we talked about 5 minutes ago, let alone 6 months ago....

Hi all, I called the NVC on 3-11 and was given the case number, IIN, and BIN for my wife's petition. I asked if I could give them the beneficiary's email address, but the operator said she could not make any changes to the application at this time. On 3-11, I sent in the OPTIN email and on 3-12, I sent in the DS-261 (it showed as available when I logged in). Do I need to call the NVC and give them the beneficiary's email address, or are the OPTIN email and DS-261 enough? Also, I have not received confirmation of the OPTIN email (other than an Auto Response that basically said your email has been received), should I expect one?

Okay advice. I'm compiling my hubby and I blackberry messenger chat history. I didn't know I would have so much! If I do all of them it will be well over 20+ pages. Maybe closer to 50. But I was told since it was a high fraud country that I would need to include more proof of relationship with the IV.

Thoughts??

Better evidence to send would be a trip that was made that wasn't included (maybe happened after you filed). If you submitted chat, email and IM logs in the initial filing you are just telling them what you already told them. Whic is cool. No harm. You can save for interview. But there's no guarantee you will be allowed to show many don't get to.

The reason why many send in evidence at NVC because between filling and NVC they found out that they didn't even submit the bare minimal to establish a bonafide. And this was people using lawyers.

Seems there are some who believe if USCIS wants it they will ask for it. That may be true. But all this evidence lands in the hands of the CO who will interview our love ones and well as for me I want that CO to have the best.

Think like a CO. If you were looking over everything could you establish that this couple You and husband) is bonafide. That they have what it takes to make it (yes someone was denied because the CO says "their gut says they don't have what it takes to make a marriage work")

Too many are told on these forums by others from easier going embassies that don't ask to see alot and think we somehow are all on the same level playing field (HA HA) "no you don't need all that bring to interview"

It's like this you submit what you need to submit to show what they want to know.

My I-130 was 219 pages. At NVC i submitted an additional 900 plus the I-130 packet again plus two photobooks. I don't give a flip if people think thats overkill or crazy. They aren't the CO at Lagos. We have to do what we have to do its that simple. All I caution is review what you submit the dialog and such and make sure he has a copy before interview to review.

Thank you! I haven't been able to visit, just because of money and work. But I have some phone logs, it's just hard to prove because I use a calling card service, so I don't dial Nigeria directly. I do have a lot of photos with him and with his family. I just hope it's all enough.

Lagos will not accepted any kind of calling cards unless you have the call log with the number called from and number called to. Like I use Rebtel and I have a Western Union Calling card that shows a monthly log.

I sent 64 pages of facebook chats from the past three months; 60 pages of whatsapp chats from the past three months; assorted emails (not too many), 6 pages of skype records, photos from our trip in December, skype records between him and my parents; assorted emails between him and my parents. I could have added receipts from the trip, but I didn't. It was already 2 lbs. I didn't frontload as much as my girl, dwheels, but high fraud countries tend to make up their minds ahead of time.

Hello all,

I need a suggestion for DS-3032 email.

Is it ok to put all beneficiaries( wife & two kids) in one email? :help:

Thank you

You want the case number for each in the subject line so I would think you should do it as 3 e-mails.

I’m guessing, but everything we’ve done so far we’ve done in separate e-mails.

Exactly one month since NOA2 !!!

Mine took a month and half to get there but I guess I got lucky and recovered since they generated the case number and IIN two days later. So overall it seems I am still in the averages.

Hope you'll get your numbers fast!
