Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

I sent my AOS and Packet IV yesterday and it was delivered today to NVC.

Is there something I need to wait for - like an email or some receipt to make sure that my files have arrived and accepted?

Do I just keep calling them daily like we did for the case number and INN?

I think they said it was entered yesterday but I was not able to call yesterday.

NVC won't email/mail you any sort of receipt. You need to call to find this out. I suggest daily so you're as up to date as possible on your case.

Hello everybody,

my husband called NVC today and they told him our nvc case number, but said that the invoice number is still not generated... NVC confirmed my husbands email address and phone number, but did not asked anything about mine (beneficiary's).

I emailed DS-3032 form few minutes ago and got auto responce from them. I hope everything will be fine :)

NVC won't email/mail you any sort of receipt. You need to call to find this out. I suggest daily so you're as up to date as possible on your case.

Do we wait for a few days - considering that they have to go through two large packets (AOS and Packet IV)? Like a week or two weeks etc?

Once the case arrives at NVC, on average, between 3 weeks to a month.

Okay I called NVC as suggested and the very nice customer service rep said the DS-261 hasn’t been reviewed yet, but it could take 5-10 business days. Hopefully from when I first did it not from when I edited it. :blush:

He said the I-864 packages should be fine even though hubby sent them from his work e-mail instead of the one they had on file. I told him I was a little paranoid about it and he said it’s understandable because it’s such an important situation I’m in. If all CSRs could be like this the world would be a much happier place. Empathy is clearly something he has.

Still waiting for IV Bill... Called NVC and they said they "received" the DS-261 on Mar. 7 (though I submitted it online on March 1), and that they need 5-10 business days to process. I've never wanted to give someone money more than I do right now!

Still waiting for IV Bill... Called NVC and they said they "received" the DS-261 on Mar. 7 (though I submitted it online on March 1), and that they need 5-10 business days to process. I've never wanted to give someone money more than I do right now!

We are on the same page.

Very impatient to give our money to them.

Okay advice. I'm compiling my hubby and I blackberry messenger chat history. I didn't know I would have so much! If I do all of them it will be well over 20+ pages. Maybe closer to 50. But I was told since it was a high fraud country that I would need to include more proof of relationship with the IV.
