FINALLY GOT A CASE NUMBER!!!!!! So excited I don't know what to do with myself!! The guy said it is being processed so he wouldn't take my emails and said to call back with them next week. Is this normal? Can't think straight - need to go back and reread the guides...

The rest of my Feb 11 VJers - hope you get your numbers before the weekend as well! :)

Congrats NYCbound that's the news I wanna hear. You just made my day, I was a little depressed earlier now I'm all cheer up, it give me a tiny hope that maybe mine is also being processed. I wanna give NVC a call except that mean lady told me to not call until next week.:innocent:

Congrats!! kicking.gifkicking.gif

I would suggest calling them back up, right before they close tonight and see if you can give your email addresses then. If not, call back up tomorrow until you can. Shouldn't take more than a day to input your case.

Did you get the IIN and BIN too?

I sent in my Opt-In email on Feb 25th, filled in the DS-261 on the 26th. Should I wait until I get the Opt-in confirmation before paying the AOS invoice?

And nope, no need to wait for optin confirmation to just pay bills.

Just called NVC. Found out that my file was received by them on 11 Feb (not 14 Feb like the first lady told me).

The Customer Service guy was the MOST pleasant person I have talked to so far.

He said that he can’t see any of my stuff because it’s not input yet and can take between 10 & 20 business days but to keep calling back.

He also said that he hopes my next phone call has the answers I am looking for.

What a wonderful, cheerful phone call.

I’d give that man a raise if I could.
