Guys i had a few questions, i hope im posting in the right place.So i what ive done so far is paid the AOS fee online. My next step is sending the ds-3032 by email per (http://www.visajourn...il_DS-3032_form) Once i do that do i still have to fill out the ds-261? they seem to be covering the same thing... and after that i will send an email and opt in for electronic processing per ( http://www.visajourn...onic_Processing). It does state not to send before getting the ds-3032 email. I got an email with this form barcoded and also an invoice for AOS, so im assuming its ok to send the opt in email without having "severe delay". Am i going the right way? After this once my invoice shows "paid", I will send the AOS packet in? After that the IV package will invoiced and i can pay it?

For Mexico, you're required to do online forms. Do NOT send the DS-3032. You have til fill out the DS-261 online.

And send the optin email asap! You should have done that as soon as you got a case number. Go go go.

Like Darnell suggested, you may want to read my wiki on EP and online forms as the process is almost identical to Canada's process.

Based on current reviewing times we're hoping both IV and AOS packages will be reviewed by next week. Is it another week or so from the time they finish reviewing packages(all fees are PAID) until the time we get case complete? I.e. Are we looking at roughly another 2 weeks from now until case complete?

Once the packages are accepted, then the case is closed either at the end of the review or within a few days. So, you can very well have a case complete by the end of next week yes.gif

My wife (petionner) had no income for 2011, we would like to use only our assets to file the I-864, do we need to include the 2011 tax receipt ?

I'm asking because we didn't fill taxes in the USA for 2011.

Thank a lot for your help.

Whether her income is $0 or not, tax information is still required. If she hasn't filed taxed due to not meeting the threshold, then she'll need to submit a letter explaining why she hasn't filed taxed last year (2011).

What about 2012? Did she earn enough money to file taxes this year?

Keep in mind, to qualify with assets, you need three times the amount of the poverty line for your household size.

Have you talked to Tier 2 at both USCIS and NVC? You should also get your congressman involved. If things are done properly, NVC gets your case pretty quickly, they just take long time to issue NVC #. From your timeline, it looks like they haven't received your case yet.

I have a service request open at the USCIS. I have talked to 3 ISO's at the USCIS all say it shows shipped but they have 30 days to ship it. I sent the copy of NOA2 to NVCresearch. I'm leaving Friday to see my husband. If I don't hear something by the time I get back I will email my senator. My sister tells me being mad is not going to help but at this moment I'm beyond a little angry. I just want them to find my file and get it in the system.

12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1

Exactly. Just get the file in NVC possession and I can finally exhale. Congressman said to allow them 15 days. If they don't have by this Friday, he will follow up and ask for an expedite.

one more quick question : I sent the choice of agend by email and I did not send a hard copy of the DS-3032 by mail. Is that ok or should I send the hard copy as well.

It will be there eventually. NVC seems to be taking awfully long with their cases since they're back up. It's been taking NVC 3-4 weeks to give out case numbers since they've received the cases anyway. Also, keep calling NVC if that will help ease your mind.

But you knew you were their?!? I have been told by 3 people at the NVC I was most likely MISPLACED. If I knew I was there and just waiting a number that would be fine. The problem is no one knows where our file it.

ok today got NVCResearch respond about our case.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) contacted U.S.

Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) in regards to your approved

petition. USCIS has informed us that your petition will be retained at

the (DALLAS FIELD OFFICE - DAL). Please contact USCIS .....

i don't really know why our petition is retained there and when it will be in NVC.... i'm confused!

Husband called USCIS and they are like usually didn't really answer the question
