NVC Filers - March 2013

Quick question.. I was wondering if someone can confirm this. I just callled the uscis to see if my case was transfered out to the NVC and when and the rep told me well it hasn't been 30 days yet, since Feb only has 28 days. My I-130 got approved on Feb 7,2013.

I was told by 3 different ISO's that they have 30 day to send your case to the NVC

I had read in the MENA forum that they didn't allow the spouses into the consulate. Have you heard this or read anything? I would like to be there, but if historically they don't let spouses in, I don't know that I can justify the trip.

That's true. I have heard the same thing. I am not planning on being with her at Interview, I am just trying to be there for here-

I love my job, but the benefits aren't the greatest, so I've already used to a deficit, my vacation time, twice over so far. Otherwise, I'd definitely go too! Then we could all meet up!

I believe your husband and my wife will have the same interview date. because we sent IV on the same day and we are waiting for case complete :0

I have only heard of one person who got to go in. I can't go due to my job duties but I will be there in spirit and prayer! The good thing is I will know the results very early in the morning due to time differences!

Also, even though I know it's super early AND I said that I wasn't going to call, I called. I got THE most pleasant operator EVER! Seriously just the nicest guy. I hope he answers the phone for me every time. Oh, and of course, my IV package isn't processed yet.

NOOOO Still nothing as of 2 pm today. I have a service request the the USCIS open and emailed my copy of the NOA2 to the NVCresearch. My husband worries our good luck was only for the USCIS

Yes we have the same approval dates.. Where you approved at the NBC or somewhere else?

It's so sad to see everybody having so much trouble with their cases lately! I'm convinced it's the local offices. Everyone who's having trouble filed after August 2012, and if you'll notice EmilyMary's case got to NVC within a week, probably because she filed in July 2012 and was processed at VSC. I wish the field offices would get their ####### together.

Bingo!! It's just hard to see people struggling and it's not even their fault. I think the overall process has also slowed down but maybe my perception is biased I am also very annoyed that they got rid of automated response system at NVC. I never dreaded calling NVC 3 years ago, now it's a hit and miss with every call to NVC.
