I'm still waiting also....you're not alone. Remember me? we have the same NOA2 and I still don't have a case number. :o

Does NVC physically have your case? My case is not even in their physical possession. But this delay is seriously ridiculous.

yesterday i contacted my congressman office asking them to help me locate my folder since it hasn't made it to NVC yet. They told me that an inquiry was sent. So after an hour, I got an email from USCIC finally saying the folder was shipped to NVC on the 6th! I don't know if it is cause of the inquiry or not. Oh well, at least i finally got an update. I hope it makes it there by next week and the inquiry helps in a speedy number assigned! :)

It's sort of in between none of the above and the embassy. USCIS will be notified later after the package has been sent to them after POE. NVC no longer has your case and could care less where you live. If you can contact the US embassy and tell them you've moved, see if they can update your case. If not, just bring a new I-864 and DS-230 with you to the interview showing the new address of where you're living. Explain to them why you're giving them new forms (you moved). Use the actual physical address of where you are.

Saylin Thankyou!

I cant find adequate words to express my gratitude to you for giving your time, your expertise and your kindness to us all...

UGH.

They reviewed the IV packet today. Of course my honest husband wrote that he was arrested when he was younger for having a steak knife on him (don't ask, silly boys) but never charged or convicted. So now I have a checklist saying they need to see the court records.

Me: "But there is no record.. he was never charged"

Operator: "But we need the court record"

Me: "But he was never convicted"

...

Now I get to draft a letter and send it to NH saying "FYI, arrested but not convicted, there is no record to be had" basically.

What does correspondence instructions on the interview letter mean?? I was looking over it again and didn't know exactly what they mean by it, I'm guessing it means that we have to direct our inquiries to the consulate?

It just means that if you end up corresponding with the consulate and they give you instructions on something, then print it out and bring it with you.
