I hope you're using IE to sign into the payment portal...

I usually use chrome, but for this particular reason I tried Internet explorer too. Though my husband has to make the payment but I already have checked the payment portal about 10 times since I got the IV invoice email but same; no tab/ box can be selected. Does it happens often or has it happened too any other person too

So I just called NVC because I realized that when I called and got our case numbers the other day I didn’t confirm e-mails for my daughter (hereafter known as Darling Daughter or DD).

I received 2 e-mails from NVC on me but none for DD.

The operator said she couldn’t confirm with me because I’m not on the file - I should be somewhere you would think. They will only talk to hubby because DD is a minor in the US.

I swear I’m going to be bald by the time I’m finally done with this stuff.

I know there’s really nothing to be done but have hubby call them but I needed to vent.

This has happened before, and it usually rights itself out quickly. Just keep using IE to sign into the payment portal. You should be able to select it soon.

Ahh, I was wondering what DD stood for

And yes, NVC will not speak with the beneficiary about any children. It has to be the petitioner in this case. Which is weird in my opinion as you're the parent of the child

I am getting ready to send the AOS packet and I want to TRIPLE DOUBLE check I am doing this right.

This is what I am planning to send. Does this sound ok?

1. Bar-coded cover sheet

2. Completed and signed form I-864 by the petitioner

3. IRS tax transcripts for the last three years

4. Petitioner's employment letter

5. Petitioner's pay stubs for the current year

Have you called USCIS yet to see when (if at all) they sent your case to NVC?

I did call 2 days ago. Talked to ISO. She insisted it was shipped on 2/8. I asked if it shows it actually shipped or if she was just reading what is showed online. She said it shipped.

I'm in the same boat. You're not alone. Call the congressman and have an ISO at the USCIS open a e-request. It took me 3 ISO before a very friendly ISO said okay and wished me luck in reuniting with my wife quickly. Although I know what the USCIS did with my case, I want them to go in writing and tell it to me via e-request. Why? When I do eventually get a case number at NVC, I want to request a expedite due to USCIS error. And it will be extremely helpful with USCIS admitting their mistakes in writing.

Don't ever just rely on what ONE person says (either at USCIS or NVC). Call multiple times (five at least) and take the majority answer. Make sure it was shipped to NVC, and not some other place.

I was told my file shipped 2/1. Then I opened a e-request and the shipped date changed to the e-request date. In reality, it was neither. Don't believe them. Call again and have them open a e-request. If one says no, call again and have the second one open it. It took me three times before I got one. I'm due a response by tomorrow. I've called earlier this week and have been told to wait until tomorrow before they can share anything.

NVC researchs initial response was to wait, file recently approved. Got my congressman involved and heard back within a week. If they lost it, yet another reason for an expedite. I'm frustrated myself and understand what you're going through. Praying they find both of our files.
