Thank you guys! much appreciated:-)

I just called NVC and I got a very rude lady saying I wont have to pay anything till they SEND me the bills... LIAR I guess!! :-)

You can't pay your bills online until they issue the bill invoice. So she's correct, in a way. :bonk:

My name and info (petitioner) disappeared from the NVC invoice page...

Before it was showing and stating "Not invoiced" but since a few hours that and my name are not there anymore.

My wife's info (under IV) are still there...

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Thanks!

Check post 2 ;)

clicked on Visa's and it took me here http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3023.html, then "If you have already filed a petition or have had a petition filed for you, and your case is current, please see the Immigrant Visa Appointment section on the left side of this page." So I did and then http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3238.html then in this paragraph :Scheduling Appointments for IV or K Petitions

To schedule a visa appointment for IV or K petitions, please contact the Embassy's Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the U.S should call (214) 571-1600, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

You must have the case number, passport number, and passport expiry date for each applicant (principal applicant and derivative family members) ready when requesting for a visa appointment.

You can also get information and book an appointment online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph.

which took me there http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

Thoughts?:help:

Ahh, I see now. The previous URL was throwing me off, but it redirects from the ustraveldocs site, so it's all good good.gif

Got a email from nvc. My interview has been scheduled for april 22nd!

Congrats! kicking.gif

1. AOS bill was finally marked as "PAID" today, after 5 days of waiting. :clock:

2. Immediately sent my pre-prepared (thanks to VJ!) AOS packet.

The strange thing was that NVC did not send me the AOS packet by email after my AOS bill was marked as "PAID". Are they supposed to send me an AOS packet? By email or postal mail?

I never got any information about the AOS package from NVC.

You can't pay your bills online until they issue the bill invoice. So she's correct, in a way. :bonk:

But there can be a HUGE time difference between when they invoice the bill and you actually receive the email from NVC. In that time, one can log onto the payment portal and see the bill has been invoiced and thus pay it right away.

None of the above. Wait till the case arrives at Manila and ask THEM what to do.

AOS bill showed up today so hubby went onto the payment portal and paid mine and DD’s automagically switched to pending as well. Yay!

Hubby’s scanning his I-864 package tomorrow (I hope) and getting that e-mailed off.

I hope the IV invoices shows up soon!

Hubby thinks I’m turning into a loony but he still wants me :)

Guessing they will notify us somehow.

I have been checking status on here, not sure how up to date it is

You guys know how long the CR-1/IR-1 visa is good for? I've always thought it would be for 6 months, but now I'm hearing that it is only good for 4 months after the date of issued.

It's typically 6 months, but it can vary based on your medical. Just check your visa once you get it.

is there someone in here that has been approved from vermont service center? Vermont is closer to NH, so I am hoping we will have our NVC case number in just a short time.

I don't really think location has much to do with it. I was processed at CSC and NVC got my case in three business days. Others come from NBC or VSC and have to wait over a month. I really have no idea what determines it, but it seems to be luck, as does almost everything else with this crazy process. whistling.gif
