this is the standard scheduling portal for Manila IV.

No worries there.

Since yer expedite at NVC was approved, you may run into some problem between NVC and Manila IV , with Manila IV actually receiving the casefile prior to interview day.

So, Be Prepared to sling a full set of everything (I-130, G-325, DS-230, I-864, photos, evidence, etc) on the visit for the interview day, just in case Manila IV hasn't received the casefile from NVC.

Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

Our case is a little different, so in retrospect I shouldn't have compared the two. :blush:

You're right. I just called NVC and they don't have my case anymore. They already forwarded to US Embassy Manila. Now I feel it's complicated 'cause I already paid the IV fee and send the documents.. huh..?!

thanks Darnell.. this is a lot of idea! actually, NVC already receive my I-864 and they said that there's no problem on it. But I'm thinking now to send everything to my mom to bring with her on her interview. Only have another problem 'cause I already pay the IV fee and it's already cashed in our bank but doesn't show that it's paid on the payment portal. hopefully the US Embassy - Manila won't collect another $230...

Wonder if I need to wait to schedule?

I'll make sure my wife has EVERYTHING, I was hoping to be there for the interview.

I am guessing I could try for next Thursday, and hope to get her medical done on Monday/Tuesday(Wednesday if needed) and then the Interview on Thursday. Considering it is the same scheduling as the NVC.

I haven't heard from the NVC, and not sure when I would. I received the news from calling.

Btw, I got this email and I was wondering if you got the same too. Also, are we the one to call the US Embassy Manila for interview schedule or the NVC will gives us...

Ya, Manila IV is a bit different for scheduling - there's 2 'types' that I know of, where the beneficiary can schedule their own selves.

1. K1/K2/K3/K4 and

2. CR-1/CR-2, IR-1/IR-2/IR-5 - IF and only IF this was a DCF'd casefile or the expedite request was approved at NVC.

CDJ has this also, and I think some Eastern Europe IV unit also...

NVC forwarded my mom's case to US Embassy - Manila.. now i'm trying to figure out what's next.. :innocent:

You shldn't have problem with the payments as I am sure that will be communicated with the IV unit. The past couple of days have seen NVC being slow with updating their payment portal. A thread mentioned they claimed to behaving an issue with it and once funds are cleared, not to worry.

Still no case number, I might have to join Feb., Mar., Apr. even May NVC Filers thread and so on. The rate my case is going at NVC, Dwheel I might just have to break your record. I don't know how you hang in there at NVC for so long. Uggh I am so frustrated with NVC. I have a bunch of kit kat bar so give me a break. :help:

My name and info (petitioner) disappeared from the NVC invoice page...

Before it was showing and stating "Not invoiced" but since a few hours that and my name are not there anymore.

My wife's info (under IV) are still there...

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

It means they are getting ready to send you your AOS bill. :thumbs:

I saw the same thing in my case, so I think that's normal. :innocent:

It's normal. It happened to both my AOS and IV bills before they were invoiced. Just keep checking the site. It should be invoiced and ready to pay within a day or two.

1. AOS bill was finally marked as "PAID" today, after 5 days of waiting. :clock:

2. Immediately sent my pre-prepared (thanks to VJ!) AOS packet. :thumbs:

The strange thing was that NVC did not send me the AOS packet by email after my AOS bill was marked as "PAID". Are they supposed to send me an AOS packet? By email or postal mail?
