Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

Just called and they gave both NVC number and IIN!!!

I guess the congressman really helped:-)

Now, I need go read first page to figure out what to do from here EXACTLY.

No. It's never worked like that and it's pretty much guaranteed they'll never change it.

There's probably just a backlog in that department or there's some sort of bug. No need to worry, it'll process soon.

I called last week and they had not received mine yet. On saturday, I sent them an email with the NOA2 attached. I never received a response except the auto reply. Last night I called, they said that my file is in the building. So I am not sure if it is the email or not. Worth the try

I just called and the operator told me to do exactly that.

I forwarded the email I received from uscis. I change the subject line to USCIS Receipt #MSC###########

I told them I was emailing regarding the receipt number trying to find out if it were received.

I then told them that i was the petitioner and that i applied for my husband

I gave them my full name, address, phone number date of birth, email address.

I gave them my husband's full name, date of birth and email address.

I attached a copy of the NOA2 that I had received.

That is it
