dear saylin,

I finally got my case number i have a last question regarding ds3032 can i send the email as in the template on the first page now or do i have to wait to receive the email from NVC also they gave me the case number only do i need IIN number to send the email beside that the rep told me that i need to scan the form do i really have to and should i write supervisor review in the subject to get the process faster. thanks in advance i really appreciate your help hope you can reply soon.

Make sure you're listing your income from the ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME from your 1040, not total wages. Things like interest from escrow, etc. can effect it by even just a few dollars. If you look at your tax transcripts, you'll see the adjusted gross income on the back of first page.

Well, I know that and that isn't helpful to me because I already stated that I don't have tax returns of my own, I have w2's and 1099. I actually called NVC yesterday and asked one how I should go about fixing question #25. He told me that if I haven't had any returns to not check the 2 boxes, but still write in what income I made in the lines corresponding to my w2's/1099 and just write an attached letter explaining why I didn't file taxes (income below threshold, since I'm a full time student and work only part-time).

12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

NVC - 119 days NVC to Visa in hand
03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )
03/25/2013: NVC Case no. assigned

Wow you have your case number already? We were approved the same day and my case can't be found at the NVC yet :o

I called last week and they had not received mine yet. On saturday, I sent them an email with the NOA2 attached. I never received a response except the auto reply. Last night I called, they said that my file is in the building. So I am not sure if it is the email or not. Worth the try

How long after paying the AOS fee does it show up as paid? I paid last Monday (25th February 2013) and as of last night it was still saying In Process. I will check back tonight when I get home from work to see if it has changed. When I checked my bank activity the money was cleared 3 days later. How much longer until it shows up as paid?

I am not where it was actually approved but I know it was being processed at the NBC I think you should call the uscis to ask where your case is mine was approved on the same day and was received at the NBC on feb11 or 14 not sure I hope you get your case number ASAP wish me luck on the rest of my journey

I just called the USCIS and they say they mailed it to the NVC on Feb 8. I guess the 40 mins on hold was worth knowing it should be at the NVC somewhere. I just hope it's not lost. :angry: Maybe they can find it after they see my approval notice :bonk: At this rate we will not get a June interview. :crying:

Unfortunately we've received a checklist that the numbers on the I-864 of the joint sponsor do not match the transcripts. Well, what we did was put down her numbers on her form and her husband's numbers on the I-864A being they file jointly. Did they expect her numbers to match the total on the transcripts where it has their numbers combined? If so then guess we'll have to resend it. We just didn't think that way, but I'll call them later today to verify.

It specifically states on that question to use the incomes from the tax returns (or tax transcripts), not from W2s. Doesn't matter if they filed jointly or not. That's why you provide W2s to prove individual income.

Again, yes. If you filed jointly, then there's only one line to take from the tax return/transcript, so both of your I-864s will have the same amount for question 25. Remember, if you're sending in tax transcripts, you'll also need to send in W2s to show individual income.
