Sugarbritches call for me too. I am still sick in bed. LOL I just want to hear that first woo whoo person. I love that feeling.

Thanks!! My husband sent the email.

Yea he was, so basically listing Lebanon is only for visa limitation purposes and I shouldn't be worried about them sending the actual file to Lebanon, since it clearly states the Embassy in Qatar and also our case number indicated Qatar, right?

Yeah, as far as I know, for the DS-3032, they reply directly to whomever sent the email. So, if your husband sent it, then they'll reply back to him.

And yes, that's why it's listed Lebanon then, since he was born there. But no worries. If your case number is for Qatar, then that's where you'll interview.

Hey so I sent my DS-3032 last week and after sending it realised I hadn't included our case number and my full name in the email. So I quickly resent the email with all the correct information.

On Friday evening I received an email saying that I didn't have all the information they required. And not long after I received another email saying that NVC would like to recall the email. Does that mean that the read my first one and emailed me, then read the correct one and took back the other email because they did in fact have everything they needed? Little confused!

Cat

Hmm, I would suggest calling up NVC to see what they say.

I'm doing EP. Today the NVC agent told me that they're still waiting for my 2 missing docs (which I believe is quite redundant, however have to follow their command). I wonder if I can just send the 2 docs alone via email or have to put them into the whole IV packet and send the whole packet again. The agent didn't give a clear answer. Anyone have that answer or any experience? I'd greatly appreciate that!

If they're only asking for 2 documents, then you just need to send those 2. No need to send the entire package again.

I have paid the AOS bill. Can I wait until I have paid the IV bill and send both the AOS and IV documents together?

It's been a week since I sent the DS-3032 and all I got was the auto response. So I sent a second one today with this in the subject line: Supervisor Review - NVC Case # - BENEFICIARY'S FULL NAME - Second Time Sending. Hope I get an acceptance soon.

You can either send them together or separately. Completely up to you!

You should expect to hear a response TODAY with that second email ;)

google voice is only free if calling from within the US. :(

If you know what you're doing, anyone can use Google Voice ;) (Hint: use proxies on your computer to base yourself in the US)

Don't let that get you done. Thats their standard pat scripted answer. It won't take 90 days. Seems if read some of the post here lately folk taking 3 to 4 weeks to get to NVC than about 10 to 17 days to get case#. So gage there. But still stay on top of NVC. I was lost for 30 days so I feel your pain. It is well.

It sucks. I understand not sending one file at a time, but I'm sure they have approved enough files to send along with mine. Do you know what time of day NVC receives their mail? That way, I can have a better time frame of when to call.

How do I change the proxies to base myself in US? I can't figure out how to do it!

Try starting from here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=482526 Basically just Google 'change proxy to US', and you'll find millions of hits.

I just checked and my country was already set to the united states and it still didn't work.

What exactly did you check that says your country is set to the US? Is your IP currently based in the US?

I think I'm just going to leave it. I think if I mess with the settings I might lose internet connection or something. Guess I will just be checking my emails every 5 minutes to see if I have anything from nvc.

I need my interview asap. My husband is in the military (we live together abroad in military housing) and is being stationed back in the US soon.

You're going to need to write a letter explaining why you didn't file. On the form, put $0 for that year.

In order to get google voice, you need an invitation, this needs to be sent from google or someone that already has google voice. You can invite 3 people only if you have an account. My hubby has google voice but unfortunately has used up all of his invitations lol, otherwise I could have signed up for it since they actualy introduced google voice for Canada last year. You can still ask google to send you an invitation but it will take up to a year

There is an app though that let's you call US and Canada, it's called MagicJack, as long as your 3G/Wifi connection is good the quality of the call will be good, I usually use this to call hubby when I'm out and about.
