Called NVC, got a super nice lady today. :D My case isn't there yet. Telus is gonna love me. I might look into buying some skype minutes.

You should look into Google Voice. Absolutely free ;) I used Google Voice for all my calls to NVC and DOS. Never cost me a penny.

DS-3032 has been accepted! That Supervisor Review thing really works! AOS bill still says in process, how crazy is THAT? Lets hope the IV bill gets invoiced quick.

What is weird is that the acceptance email was only sent to my husband's email, they didn't send it to me. This is the acceptance email right?

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: DOH2013XXXXXX filed by ME on behalf of MY HUSBAND.

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.

Also, at the bottom where it lists our names and case number and stuff it says this:

Foreign State Chargeability: LEBANON

U.S. EMBASSY

22ND FEBRUARY STREET

AL LUQTA DISTRICT

P.O. BOX 2399, DOHA, QATAR

which makes absolutely NO sense b/c Lebanon is a totally different country! The only reason this worries me is that my aunt just recently went through this process and NVC sent her petition to Lebanon instead of Bahrain where she was living. Our case number starts with DOH which is the embassy here in Qatar, so should I just ignore this?

Yup, that looks like the acceptance to me, grats! Who sent the email, you or your husband?

Was the beneficiary born in Lebanon? Here's a paragraph on Foreign State of Chargeability: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=0eab95c4f635f010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=b328194d3e88d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD

Thanks!! My husband sent the email.

Yea he was, so basically listing Lebanon is only for visa limitation purposes and I shouldn't be worried about them sending the actual file to Lebanon, since it clearly states the Embassy in Qatar and also our case number indicated Qatar, right?

Tax information for 2012 isn't needed yet at NVC, so you're fine. But make sure you file taxes soon as your interview will likely be after the tax deadline in which 2012 tax information will be needed at the interview.

If you're going to send 2012 information to NVC, then no, the copy of the tax return doesn't have to be certified. But, for the interview, I highly suggest getting the tax transcript from IRS (as well as bringing the W2s and copy of the tax return).

Thanks for the info Saylin!!

Hey so I sent my DS-3032 last week and after sending it realised I hadn't included our case number and my full name in the email. So I quickly resent the email with all the correct information.

On Friday evening I received an email saying that I didn't have all the information they required. And not long after I received another email saying that NVC would like to recall the email. Does that mean that the read my first one and emailed me, then read the correct one and took back the other email because they did in fact have everything they needed? Little confused!

So I just got off the phone with USCIS and my file is still there. I was told it could take up to till 3 months to send my file to NVC, because they don't send them one by one but in a group.

This is crazy.

I don't know what to do. I guess I have to wait.

I'm doing EP. Today the NVC agent told me that they're still waiting for my 2 missing docs (which I believe is quite redundant, however have to follow their command). I wonder if I can just send the 2 docs alone via email or have to put them into the whole IV packet and send the whole packet again. The agent didn't give a clear answer. Anyone have that answer or any experience? I'd greatly appreciate that!

I have paid the AOS bill. Can I wait until I have paid the IV bill and send both the AOS and IV documents together?

It's been a week since I sent the DS-3032 and all I got was the auto response. So I sent a second one today with this in the subject line: Supervisor Review - NVC Case # - BENEFICIARY'S FULL NAME - Second Time Sending. Hope I get an acceptance soon.

Don't let that get you done. Thats their standard pat scripted answer. It won't take 90 days. Seems if read some of the post here lately folk taking 3 to 4 weeks to get to NVC than about 10 to 17 days to get case#. So gage there. But still stay on top of NVC. I was lost for 30 days so I feel your pain. It is well.

Hi all, I will join this topic as I just learnt that finally my file reached NVC.

USCIS screwed up my petition sending it for adjustment of status when I did file for consular processing. After so many calls, congressman, escalation to supervisor they seem finally got it and sent my file to NVC.

Hope things will smoothen out going forward... :-)
