Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

NVC still hasn't received my file yet. Today I called USCIS and requested that they transfer me to a tier 2 representative and the CSR rudely told me that I have no reason to speak with a rep since my petition has been approved. I told her I would like to file a request to have my case sent to the NVC and she replied back that on my receipt notice it says that I have to wait at least 30 days before I can file a service request then she hung up.

Why are some reps so caustic? I usually have no trouble getting an agent to transfer me to a tier 2 ranting33va.gif

Some operators (whether at USCIS, NVC, or DOS) are just absolutely awful and should not be working at a call center mad.gif

Checking in on the March thread! Sent IV package yesterday, should be in NH on Friday. Now just waiting for its review and hopefully a case complete. Then on to interview!

Saylin :) I need your help!

I am about to send an email to NVC, my husband told me to give it a try and sending an email asking for the DS-261 status

I am attaching the PDF file with confirmation number I have received when I filed online.

Basically I am explaining when I have filed the form online, and that it already passed 22 days since then and we are wondering if the form has been already reviewed or not.

Should I write in the subject line SUPERVISOR REVIEW or not? What do you think?

I'm checking too. Called the NVC today. They still don't have my case yet. The lady said to call back tomorrow night and maybe it will be there.


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
