Hey - Happy Good Friday and Easter, for those of youse that celebrate it !

Thanks guys :) Also, just to make sure I am doing this right, I can send the IV packet first right? Order doesn't matter cause they are two different things right? :)

weren't you recently approved for an expedite at NVC? If that's the case, stop for a moment, call into NVC, and inquire about this. Apologies if I've confused you with somebody else.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I have a question about sending AOS and IV together since you did that :) I was wondering which address do you send it to? So do you get two envelopes and write the different addresses on each and then put them both in another envelope? with what address?

NVC replies to the email that was sent, so you'll know that way if it was accepted. It can take 1-2 weeks for the DS-3032 to be reviewed.

The automated reply is simply that, an automated reply. It's sent automatically when NVC receives an email. It just means the email has successfully made it to their email server, nothing more.

Hello everyone!

My case was assigned to Manila, Philippines, even when everywhere else in our petition package, it stated we both lived in Japan. :(

I understand AKSinghSingh experienced a similar issue with a wrong consulate assignment. But, mine is the wrong country :(

I called 3x last night and they said It states in the system I don't have evidence of living in Japan. When I never even stated I live in the Philippines! This is truly disappointing.

In the email that I will be sending to request the change, I plan to put in scans of everything we have already sent as proof of my current address (thank you, VJ, for telling me to make copies) and to express my disappointment with this oversight. Is the latter part a wise thing to do?

Also got interview date scheduled :) It's later than what I was hoping but at least it's been scheduled! How do I know once my case has reached the embassy? The interview letter NVC sent says that the case has been forwarded to the embassy. I don't want to try to talk to them before they get my case b/c I'm sure they'll just tell me they can't talk to me about a case they know nothing about.

Also need to schedule medical, too bad they're closed today (Sat), aaahhh I can't believe we're finally at this stage. Thanks everyone for all your help I seriously don't know what I would have done without this site to calm my fears!

Wow congratulations. This is the first thing I see in m VJ email box.

Okay this is what I did cuz I had to stalk my case going to embassy.

I got interview date 3/5 and case sent to embassy 3/11 and arrived and signed 3/14.

I called every few days after I got interview date. Once they say sent - started the DHL tracker and saw Ben Obi signed on 3/14.

So I would say next friday call. Hopefully its there or on way and than request your interview date change. I would get medical next week so you are good and ready.

Again congrats dear.
