Hi Everyone,

My wife received DS-3032 reply email from NVC today for my son and daughter but not for her.

Problem is that they sent wrong case# in the body of email for my daughter. :bonk:

What should I do? Is it ok to reply NVC to correct for the mistake or should I ask her to send a new email for my daughter?

NVC is on the ball today. I got the e-mail saying my choice of agent has been processed and I can pay the IV Bill. Went to the payment portal and indeed I can now pay.

Question - I was looking at the screenshots for the DS-260 last night and there is a question about whether you 'worked' for a charity. I sat on the Board of Directors for a charity when I was in the US before. It was entirely unpaid and volunteer. Not even re-imbursement of expenses. Is this something I have to report? And what is their interest in it?

Thanks.

Hi, you need to call and correct any mistakes. This is much faster and less confusing than trying to do it via email.

Woohoo, grats! kicking.gif

And yes, it seems like you fit the question, so just include a little sentence or two about it. Not sure what their interest is though.

Different is OK, as each receipt # from USCIS gets a NEW Consular casefile number at NVC.

As long as these folk are recognizeable as yer folksen, yer ok.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
