True but she said they sent a checklist for it March 12th.

Here is what the checklist said on March 12th:

Nothing about the AOS needing anything. I even called when I got that and got no information. In fact, when I called about it, they told me the AOS was complete and accepted!

That's true, I forgot about that. Weeeeeird. They may have done another check of all the packages as they were going to close your case. So, you may still get a checklist, based on the review they just did.

They already had my email and my phone number.

However I couldn't give over my husband's email nor would they give me the IIN. She said the system wouldn't let her because they are still inputting information.

When should I call back again?

I would like to send the new agent form asap.

Call back later this early evening (around 5pm EST) and see if you can give over the email address. You should have been able to get the IIN as the operator wouldn't be inputting information with that, just giving it to you. When you next call, try again with the IIN.

Yup, that's how they sometimes know the petitioner's email address. But they won't know the beneficiary's, so I hoped you told the operator the beneficiary's email address while on the call. If not, call back up asap to give it.

It didn't ask for any PREVIOUS occupations at all?

Can any others who did the DS-260 recently attest to this as well? I might have to update my wiki then...

YAY! at last got the case number from NVC. Approval was on feb 20, all this time they were saying they have not

recieved the case from USCIS but today I called without expecting anything. I also gave them the emails of both

beneficiary and the petitioner. Whats next now ?

On the DS260 when it asks "do you have other occupation/employment?" You'd have to say "yes" and then it asks you to keep adding employment for the past ten years. When you say "no" it means you've only been employed by one employer for the past 10 years, that's what I think. My attorney even looked at my form before submitting and said everything looks good and I did everything right.

Hmmmm.... that makes me nervous now. At the top of the page when I was filling out the form, the title reads "Present Work/Education/Training Information" and it had a note underneath that said "NOTE: Provide the following information concerning your current employment or education."

So, I didn't think I had to put past employment/education.... So I just filled out my present employment and answered "NO" to the question "Do you have other occupations?"

Has anyone else filled out the form recently that did the same as me? Having total anxiety now...

They're open until midnight Eastern time. Try again later this evening and see if they'll take your email addresses then. It can't hurt and you may save a weekend.

Congratulations! So happy for you. Same thing happened to me last Friday. I called and wasn't expecting it and got my case number. I had to call back later on and was able to give the email adresses though they already had mine and got the IIN.

AOS shown paid on payment portal

I had sent the AOS package yesterday for today delivery. It was signed for this morning.

Now waiting impatiently for approval of DS-3032 so IV can be invoiced.

So, I didn't think I had to put past employment/education.... So I just filled out my present employment and answered "NO" to the question "Do you have other occupations?"

Looking at the review of mine, it was worded differently ("Were you previously employed?"), so much less confusing.

If I remember correctly, you can always go back into the form and change things if you wish.

I'd say call back in a couple of hours and try again. If still not able to, call right around 11:45pm EST, before they close.
