I called NVC today and was told to email my NOA2 (Recieved Feb 28th) since they have not recieved it. Is that a sign that it will be expedited? How long should i wait till i get a response from them? Do i keep calling as usual? Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, that's not a sign that it will be expedited, it's a sign that they don't know where your file is and want to make sure it's been approved before looking for it. After you email them, they should give you a time frame of how long you might have to wait before hearing back. And yeah, I would keep calling as usual, just in case.

I am in the same boat with both of our cases.

I know yesterday it said “Not Available” for the IV Bill whereas today it is saying the exact same thing as you.

Looks like we are neck-in-neck still.

Oh good - I'm glad that I have someone as a check everything against! Hopefully we will both be invoiced before the weekend... :clock:

Saylin,

But I was told a transcript would not be ready for 2012 for another 2 weeks

Did you not read what I wrote? 2012 tax information isn't needed for NVC yet, only for the interview.

Yes and hubby sent out the DS3032 email template :) Thanks for all you do!

I quoted the wrong post :) Thank you Saylin!

Hi Saylin - yes, I'm using IE. I usually check both portals because I'm obsessive like that... I called NVC and the operator said that it appears in the online form portal first to show that the DS-261 has been reviewed/approved, and that it should appear in the payment portal within 3-5 business days.

Just keep checking then. It should be invoiced soon, maybe later today!

My call got thru fine......but of course no case # yet. :(

Thank you God, I got my case and invoice id number today :) Yaaay!

Congrats!! I'm right behind you. hopefully I'll get ours soon.

Hi All - I logged into the portal where the online forms are located, and this time it finally shows the IV Bill, status "Not Paid" and a link to "Pay" (before it was blank). However, when I hit the link (or try to login to the payment portal separately), there is no fee to pay.

Is this normal? Does this mean that it is being invoiced, or is something wrong?

Thanks!

try again, from a PC running winders and IE v7 (or greater) as that's what the portal is designed for.

Use some other combo? Cannot gaurantee anything.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I suggest, instead, that you chase down the I-130 with USCIS, a Tier 2 human, an ISO.

Many local offices are NOT sending off the approved I-130s within the same week of approval.

Our I-130 was approved from Vermont today, so off to NVC we go... although one suspect it'll be a April file rather than a march one.

Good luck to all! :D
