Hi All - I logged into the portal where the online forms are located, and this time it finally shows the IV Bill, status "Not Paid" and a link to "Pay" (before it was blank). However, when I hit the link (or try to login to the payment portal separately), there is no fee to pay.

Is this normal? Does this mean that it is being invoiced, or is something wrong?

Thanks!

I think I'm about to do something counter intuitive. I'm applying to be a foreign service social worker through the department of state...with a pending spousal visa requiring a waiver...

Are you using IE? When paying bills, log into the payment portal, not the online forms site.

I have been trying to call NVC, and they keep me on hold, and then all of the sudden it's silent and all I hear is "beeb beeb beeb" and hang up! What is going on? That's like after a 15 min hold!

Everyone is stating that I need 2012 tax transcript, I recently did mine like 3 days ago. Can I just submit my W2 and 1040 with my AOS packet and that will be enough?

Thanks for your answers.

Up until April 15th, 2012 tax information isn't needed. But, since your interview will likely be after this date, you will need 2012 tax information for the interview.

Hi Saylin - yes, I'm using IE. I usually check both portals because I'm obsessive like that... I called NVC and the operator said that it appears in the online form portal first to show that the DS-261 has been reviewed/approved, and that it should appear in the payment portal within 3-5 business days.

I am in the same boat with both of our cases.

I know yesterday it said “Not Available” for the IV Bill whereas today it is saying the exact same thing as you.

Looks like we are neck-in-neck still.
