Hehe laughing.gif No problem, immigration makes everyone go crazy like this -> wacko.gif

If it was just assigned on Friday, then it should be invoiced this week. It seems NVC was closed today, so it's really only been one business day. It could take up to a week or even more for it to be invoiced. Just keep an eye on the payment portal!

I'm not sure scanning would work as it won't be great quality. You don't have any white or off-white walls at all? Or at a family or friend's house?

Only one.. it's a door and it's a high gloss paint. I will try tomorrow though with the tripod. If not I may also be able to borrow a white sheet from my daughter's father. She had white sheets on her bed forever.

Do I have to have my ears uncovered like for Canada passport pics? They're making you even take off necklaces now because they might shine. Ugh. So picky!

If you use sheets, make sure they're tight, so there's no ripples or anything.

I would suggest wearing no jewelry, having your hair down, and your ears visible. I'm not sure how picky NVC/medical/consulate is (compared to Passport Canada), but it's best not to find out the hard way.

Sigh, this IV packet has grown to be a BEAST, not going to fit in the USPS Flat Rate Express Mail envelope. sad.gif

Since your interview is after the tax deadline of April 15, then 2012 tax information will be requested. Make sure you have it otherwise you'll be put into AP for missing documents.

Thanks for your response Saylin. So for the interview i need to take I-864 in which Part 25 should have 2012, 2011 and 2010 incomes mentioned and should have 2012 tax transripts. Am i right?

Okay need advice to help someone with so many petitions taking forever to get to NVC what does one do. back story

NOA2 1-25

No one knows where petition is. NVC says call USCIS. USCIS has no clue. What do they do now? (Maybe they got sent to New Delhi (Not their embassy). :(

we have the same story NOA2 1-22 Our case still not at NVC but NVCresearch figured out that our case were sent to USCIS local office. We called many times to USCIS and all they said that our case was sent to NVC , then finally last week they called and said that it is in local office for adjustment of status.. they promised that it will be send to NVC as soon as possible. we are still waiting.

You don't have to wait for it to show as PAID before you ship. You can ship now. I learned this after the fact - I wish I had sent mine in four days earlier than I did. It would have been there when the fee was cleared by the bank. Just make sure you include your barcoded cover sheet! You have to print that out and attach it to the DS-230. Your cover letter on top. I am wondering why your IV packet is so thick? I think ours was about 12 pages.

Has anyone tried calling NVC this morning? Wondering if they've been able to get to work. New Hampshire was hit with a lot of snow and ice. Ooops, there goes our electricity - no power (internet) for six hours straight starting now.

They're from a MENA country, thus it's sort of needed to send extra evidence of proof of marriage, since COs will review their case and make a decision on the outcome (approve or deny) before the interview, so they need to send as much evidence as possible proving their marriage is real.
