Hi Saylin,

My case was completed on 7th March and NVC has scheduled my visa interview on 17th April. However, when we received the case complete mail, NVC is saying there is still some discrepancies in I-864 form and that the correct one has to be presented to the Consular Officer at the time of interview. It is the same issue again, the income indicated on I-864 Part 25 does not correspond to the amount shown in the most recent federal tax return and W'2's. My husband had sent federal tax return of 2011 since that was the most recent at that point in time. My question is, when i take the corrected I-864 to the interview on April 17th, do i have to take 2011 tax return or 2012 tax return.

I am really worried about this and want to be sure everything is fine for the interview.

Here's my dilemma, got our i-30 approved on March 15, 2013..husband was staying with his aunt, they got evicted..she didn't say anything about the notice ect...However, he's bn staying at a hotel, and will be looking to move into an apt hopefully by weds once he decides which one he likes better... on the USCIS webiste, it said the NOA2 was mailed, but he's no longer at that address...should he call the uscis and let them know the situation or just call on weds when he signs the contract with his new address...the reason why i am asking is because, i saw something where it stated, once it goes back to the uscis, u have to pay a fee for them to resend it, also it takes a while for them to resend it... Need some advice on this one, thank you..

I-130 approval notice not needed for further processing, ever.

that's not the case for I-129F approval notices, though - perhaps you've confused the two ?

For now, get back to post #1, read the content of the links there, pass it on to yer husband... He needs to use a telephone with NVC in about 3 to 3 weeks.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I wish, got friends trying to get me onto Planetside 2 on a daily basis, for now I just log on once a week, trying to stop! No time for anything. wacko.gif

iA you will get everything done this week! I'm just waiting for AOS packet acceptance, and IV fee for now, not too far behind you!

I just hope so I get a case complete this week, though haven't heard anything yet and when I called two three days back they said they are still waiting to review the packages headbonk.gif I think sometimes they just procrastinate the things and it annoys very much. Btw All the best to you, may be we get Interview dates with few days gap

They couldn't give vaccines on the same day? Curious what the reason was since my wife will be needing two or three vaccinations. Congrats on almost being done!

Thanks! I mailed to Phoenix lockbox.. I've read some of the post that when you applied for I-130, try to put all the papers that you think could possibly help the process. And that's what I did. My case was finished at USCIS for 42days after NOA1...

Good luck on your journey too!

You're right, minimum of two days... Some will need three days if they have a medical issue..

Maybe when your husband call the NVC for further processing, he should mention that he changes address... Next week maybe He can start caling the to get your NVC #. you can get the NVC contact number on post 1.

My Dh did his medical on Sunday. I wrote a review of what happened in the MENA forum for anyone's future reference. We have 7-10 days to wait for the results.

Does anyone know if we can get a copy of the medical files? It would be helpful applying for jobs here since DH is a teacher will likely need vaccinations and physical info.

I am really worried about this and want to be sure everything is fine for the interview.

Since your interview is after the tax deadline of April 15, then 2012 tax information will be requested. Make sure you have it otherwise you'll be put into AP for missing documents.

They couldn't give vaccines on the same day? Curious what the reason was since my wife will be needing two or three vaccinations. Congrats on almost being done!

SLEC in the Philippines is a 2-day process. And it could be longer depending on results. I believe this is the only place where the medical is over two days; everywhere else I believe is just one day.

If you know there's missing vaccines, you may want to get them done NOW at a family doctor as it'll likely be cheaper than getting them done at a panel physician.

My Dh did his medical on Sunday. I wrote a review of what happened in the MENA forum for anyone's future reference. We have 7-10 days to wait for the results.

I'm not sure about other countries, but for Canada, you get a copy of the vaccination sheet (you can see a copy of mine here: http://s128.photobucket.com/user/smurf47/library/Immigration/Medical%20results/). We also got a CD with our X-rays on it. But that might just be Canada-specific. Your husband can always ask when he goes to pick up the results.
